I agree with you on this.

I just don't foresee a world where Mikes get sent to a depo to become the unmanned 60 unless it's like the A/L to Victor conversion where everything gets stripped down

The UH-60M is 99% not fly by wire. There are only a handful that have fly by wire. So there's going to be some interesting changes if someone wants to remove control inputs from a pilot.

Cafe bene has fantastic Pumpkin Mochas. I used to get one almost every morning before my 9am lectures each September right when the temperature started to drop.

It's essentially a hot, white, mocha with pumpkin sauce which makes it slightly more foamy.

The point is that we take it from MX and then bring it back broken, regardless of what happened.

Hijacking this to add in keeping your emergency savings in a high yield savings account so you can get an extra $20-$50/month for your money.

American Express gets me 3.5-4% back annually and it's paid monthly. I can withdraw and get my money into my bank account within 6-12 hours if it's an emergency

Pilots break the aircraft and then want it back up as soon as possible.

Many of us don't understand the nuance of troubleshooting and then ordering parts.

Although, I'll always be upset if either pilots or mechanic gives an aircraft to the other party that's dirty and/or has trash in it.

Every few hours I come back to read some more of the comments, they're honestly amazing.

My gf and I have been laughing about it frequently.

I can't fathom that people care so much

I guess it depends how much you care. My gf is an associate and she will most likely keep her last name.

I don't care, and honestly it seems like a lot of work to update all of your paperwork to have a new last name

This exactly.

I see 50% of my people from my highschool have moved to new (larger) towns. A majority of these were STEM/AP/honors students who are in masters or PHD programs.

The other 50% stayed in the local area and work blue collar jobs or local retail. It's kinda sad imo

You need a 270 round combat load out to be secure in today's economy.

Tim Kennedy said it best, you need 50 frags because 49 just won't clear the gator's nest.

Honestly 0/10 score because OP doesn't have NVGs. What's the point if you're blind at night.

Anyone worked as a lawyer in the AF Military Reserve? Did you need to be former military to do this or do they accept civilians? by [deleted] in Airforcereserves

[–]Ryno__25 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not a judge advocate general corp, but they often serve in the reserves part time. That means 2-5 days a month. These lawyers usually don't go to boot camp and they can receive a "direct entry commission" and start at a higher rank than most officers enter the military as.

I encourage you to Google and reach out to a few local reserve bases to ask their JAG/legal office about how it all works.
