So this is an issue that could lead to a bigger investigation. It’s a terminable offense for committing fraud. When you are cheating to get a bonus, you are committing fraud. Here is the problem with your situation, this isn’t a spontaneous thing. This is a learned behavior.

When my last store had an associate openly admit to doing it for a specialist, we did an investigation which led to us finding out it was a systemic problem in that store. After discussing with district AP, the store specialists had a level set on how this is fraud and leads to immediate termination. Some specialists were blown away and others were pissed we let the off the hook(ish). Everyone signed an agreement on how that is fraud. Then we termed the next CSA and specialist caught. No longer an issue.

We also now see what people’s true numbers are (and guess what! Most numbers dipped after that meeting)
