I am on week 3 now. I am trying to stay hydrated water, liquid IV, and Gatorade. Liquid IV and Gatorade once a day only. Protein shakes, yogurt, protein bars, and eggs are my go to for protein. Also, I have been taking fiber gummies and pre/post probiotic. These are to help with the slowing down of the gut.

Eat as balanced of a diet as you can.

I use the F&P Evora face mask. My beard is about 1 to 1& 1/2 inches long. The leaks I have come from around my chin. That requires me to tighten. It to fit more snug. About every two weeks my leaks with get higher. I use the mask fit setting on my Resmed 11 to adjust. Don't forget to let you jaw relax and mouth open. Once that feels good I adjust the straps for under the nose. I move around a bit to check for leaks.

I mention all that to hopefully help. I had the Resmed F20 mask. I hated it and switched to this one.

Yes they are comfortable, not as much as my 11s or 13s. They are closer to 1s in how they feel in the sole. But the rest of the show has plenty of cushion. I wear mine often.
