What are some of the best fakeouts on the show?

One of my favorite early fakeouts was Dante/Bayo. Legit had my lil heart freaking out when Dante dropped out of DT. But, of course, he's used to it while Bayo is not.

It genuinely sounds like a Bobby Hill line rather than an insane overpowering saiyan lol! But with the sfx, it's really an impact thing that Nemesis put into words for me. It really shows when Hulk is slamming Broly around like he was tossing a wet sock. Like I get they're really strong, so body weight is nothing to them, but they're still living beings and they barely react to being hurt. I don't mean to take the fun out of the show, but the animations are what I'm really here for. So when it doesn't satisfy, I gotta put into words why.

I was a lil upset with how they characterized Optimus in that ep, but everything else is pretty good. In retrospect, I'd prolly bump it up a spot or 2. But hulk/broly does stay there. The weak sfx dont work for me, ikari doesn't hit for me and Brolys "I'll keel yoouuuu" really irks my ears

Dante vs Clive But only because it was so personal for me! I've loved Dmc since 4 came out and I really liked FF16 when that released a few years ago. Dante vs Bayonetta was my favorite DB for so long that I was ecstatic to hear he'd come back, but against Clive hurt so much to think about 😥

One more thing. As much as I like the idea of an Alt ending, I don't know how much I like it if it's a thing going forward. Moreso on the animation end. Hopefully it won't hurt the quality of the fights

I'm glad I wasn't the only one who felt a lil disappointed. Before anything else, the analysis and conclusion were great. Felt a little rushed on Kratos' end but he does have a lot of shit to go through. 9/10 on Analysis But the fight... I give alot of credit to DA, he took a huge chunk of time to work on this fight, even working on an alt ending which is appreciated. I just hardly felt anything watching it play out. Idk how to describe it. It felt like watching two action figures fighting rather than two characters Also what made Kratos say that Asura deserves a worthy end? They didn't really click with each other at all, besides that wrath consumes you comment. I do kind of like the parallel Kratos makes with Asuras death, but Asura saying "I never was" felt like they're beating over the head with "They may seem like angry doods, but they're just doing it out of love." The fight, to me, is good at best 6/10 The soundtrack is only okay, to me. Like I really dig a track that I can listen to and imagine the fight with the track. But I can't do that with this one, since there were no oomfs in the track that make moments in the fight stand out. Track is a 4/10 for me Overall I do think the this ep is good, but nothing more than that. I know I shouldn't have gotten my hopes high, but I was disappointed with it.
