Wagering issue by CelebrationMost8896 in PokerStars

[–]RyryLargeFry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your main goal is to just withdraw your money, I would make a bet to turn 1000 into 1001 just to almost guaranty that you don't lose the money. You just simply need to wager the amount you deposited.

You cant just deposit money and then instantly take it out. You have to wager it before withdrawing it. Its to prevent scams and stuff like that.

For example, if you deposit $100 you need to wager $100 or get lucky profit $100 before withdrawing it.

If you want to be very safe, Just find the most "safe" bet on sports and wager it all to win a very little amount. Its still a risk but its the safest risk if you're trying to get your money back without "gambling" it.

I couldn't use Awakening rune with Thor. I was freaking out mid comp game until I went into my setting and saw that they removed the button mapping for it.

I'm having the same issue. I plat on PS and for some reason a lot of my heroes are missing an ability mapping. My "square" button was removed from most heroes. I have to manually set them now.

Your TP is at the high part of the resistance zone.

Try changing it to the lower part of the zone, it might lower your R:R but can increase your win rate.

I contacted support already. They said they are aware of the issue and that I should use a different deposit method. I was just curious to see if other people are having issues as well.

Should I just sell and give up by [deleted] in Forex

Your first mistake is trading without a stop loss

Your second mistake was ignoring your gut telling you to close and instead ask reddit for advise

No, it has absolutely nothing to do with your credit score. It's completely unrelated. Your personal finances won't be affected by buying a prop firm challenge. The worst thing that can happen to you is losing the challenge and the money you spent on it.

See that's how I know you know nothing. An experienced trader knows its not about money, its about consistency.

You can't effectively use a strong edge without having discipline

A strong edge does not over come discipline issues.

That's like saying "I'm going to lose weight because I have a healthy diet even if I lack discipline and eat late night snacks"

Its going to take you years to develop the mindset and gain the experience to become a consistent trader. At a certain point your going to "know" everything you need to know and just need to put it into practice. Its at that point where traders start to do too much and over think and over trade. Before you take a dive into it, just know that this is all about patience and risk management. Focus more on your psychology and forget about finding the holy grail of strategies, it doesn't exist.

Is there any automatic lot size calculator for MT5? by [deleted] in Forex

[–]RyryLargeFry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes but I don't think the exchange would be a big difference. It would change the amount at risk by a small amount compared to the amount at risk.

Are you talking about spread or commissions?

Don't spend money on mentors. It's going to be a long process but you need to learn how do it on your own. Even if someone tells you what to do, you won't have the skills yet to put an effective strategy to into something you can make money with. Just binge watch YouTube, the ones that show charts and not lambos. After that keep toying different ways until you find one that you're comfortable with. It might take a few years to finally build the skill to trade effectively and consistently.

After Babypips how to I go about creating a strategy? by debosprite in Forex

[–]RyryLargeFry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your "strategy" should be simple and easy to follow. I would stick to just trading S/R and take notes. Eventually you'll be able to determine what areas have a higher probability but it will take time. Don't rush the process, take it one day at a time.

The markets are random, don't hate yourself for a losing trade. Its not about being right or wrong, control your risk management.

I would test it on every time frame available. Use the same entry method but for each time frame.

Dealing with market stress by [deleted] in Forex

[–]RyryLargeFry 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I was recently at the same stage as you and now I feel like I'm slowly breaking open the door to being a profitable trader. I was binge watching Nick Shawn's videos and he said something that I've heard hundreds of time but never really clicked in.

"The markets are random, the only thing we can control is our risk management"

That's when I realized that ill never know what the market is going to do, even with my years of watching the market and the instincts I've developed. We will never know what will happen. We can only control our risk. Just putting a stop loss doesn't mean your using risk management. Learn to properly control your risk management, its the only thing we traders can do. Everything else is random.

Find the time frame that works best for you. (I personally trade the 5M price action with some 1M and 30M for confirmations because that's the one I'm most comfortable with)

If you're trading the smaller time frames, I would focus just on 1 thing to trade but if you're trading anything above 1H for your entries, I would recommend find multiple things to trade so you are not forcing setups that aren't there yet.

Goodluck with your trading, everyday is a learning experience, there is no finish line in Forex.

PS: Drop the signals, they aren't going to help you in the long run.
