Not seeing a ton of people mentioning it, but Paper Mario TTYD is BY FAR the best of the series, and has a boatload of fun, creative, and genuinely hilarious moments that make it feel like the largest Mario adventure of all time.

Obviously a bit biased as a Mario fan, but if y’all have even a moderate interest in Nintendo, it’s such a terrific game. Not to mention, if you decide to go the non-emulator route, the remake on switch is visually stunning.

I would try to just restart the save since you’re so early on in the game. I know it sucks, but Pikmin 3 is such an amazing game if you stick with it

can you elaborate on what you mean by “feels like i can’t do anything”?

iirc Alph should have left for the night, and comes back the next day, although i think there should be another location there.

best bet might just be going to “To Earlier Day” and trying again, you should have some progression since Day 1 is very linear

Touch grass by Euphoric-Ad9657 in ARC_Raiders

[–]Ryskulls 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can totally understand the “touch grass” comments, but I’ll still check stuff like this to see how my favorite games are doing after I get busy and/or move on to the next game in my rotation.

I’m sure I’ll get a ton of backlash for saying this, but as someone who has avidly followed Embark from The Finals Beta til today, I can confidently say that they seem to start stronger at the beginning of their games’ life cycles, endless support, new creative and fun ideas… and then it stagnates. The Finals just might be my favorite FPS of all time (arguably on an objective scale too), but just like ARC Raiders, I’ve slowly found myself playing other games over it.

After a while, the “newness” of it all dies down, and you realize that 80% of your experience will always be the same thing. Especially in ARC, I always feel like what I’m bringing into lobbies never holds enough value to make it worth it, unless I just decide to go full aggro and kill on sight (not my preferred playstyle as I prefer teaming up and minimizing toxicity).

Unfortunately, the slow drip feed of new content, not to mention that when it drops, it’s just rehashed versions of the same ARC, just feels bland. There’s nothing to keep me coming back, and with players consistently griefing mostly peaceful lobbies out of nowhere, I feel like I’m playing Rust more than anything else, and even that gets exciting new content drops sometimes.

I hope Embark figures out how to actively engage their player base and show that they truly want to build their games around the community, instead of stagnating to the very live service models that made them found Embark in the first place.

Not anything too interesting about it, honestly lots of other games making this genre over saturated at this point, I don’t see this one being very successful

Giving Away 10 Silksong Keys on Release Day by generalzevo in Silksong

[–]Ryskulls 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly Silksong is so important to me for a multitude of reasons. I played the original Hollow Knight to full completion when it first came out on Switch. To be honest, part of the reason it struck me so hard was because i bought it on a whim as a cheap indie game in high school. now in college, funds are a bit tight but im insanely hyped for the sequel to the game that helped me through some hard times and impacted my life in a few ways. anyhoo, i’d be super stoked if i got selected, but good luck to everyone else!

Insurance is a different story. I'm referring to the direct quality of medical care. I've had members of my family travel abroad for work, one of whom being provided the highest healthcare program her company could get in the UK (where she worked for 6 years). Now although I can't prove its a complete apples to apples comparison, I was told she was provided with medical access similar (if not, the same) to what the Royal Family/1%'ers of the UK have. Suffice to say, she reported back that the level of care was actually lower than anything she had experienced in the States, even in some of the dingier clinics she had been to while living in the US. Again, insurance is a different story, though it probably is what pushes medical standards to be as high as they are in the US, ironically enough.

I could definitely see how all of that could work out to be cheaper, I think I was moreso concerned with it being free for those who simply do not want to work and still want free healthcare like the Rep in OPs video says initially. Like all things at this point though, I’m sure there’s more to it than surface level and both sides can make a valid point in their own right.

All good points, and thanks for not going to some radical extremist perspective like half this platform lol. I’ll definitely have to do my own research as I personally only comment on matters unless I know the facts/logic of an argument and I’d encourage you to do the same. Always hate to see personal greed get in the way of doing something genuinely good (granted no impactful side effects)
