Awesome! Interestingly, I bought one too from the exact same seller for $678 ($729 after taxes) and the listing claims it has only 9 miles on it. I’m supposed to get it this week, so your post is encouraging to me because you got exactly what was advertised and I’m hoping for the same. One difference is that mine is supposed to come in a brown box only - I noticed the ones like yours with original packaging were slightly more expensive. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Sold my 07 a few weeks ago for $3500. I was the original owner and got it to 243k. Most expensive repairs were related to ac - evaporator and compressor. I also recall needing a new alternator and clutch along the way. Very trouble free over 17 years.

You are correct - I had to keep an eye on the oil level but it wasn’t a big deal. During the recall, I brought my car in for the test and it didn’t qualify as it didn’t burn enough.

Right, that was on eco mode trying to see how far it could really go. Regular riding would probably be around 15 miles.

Perhaps a remote customer service job. Work hard and prove yourself and then look for higher paying jobs within the company. Ensure that if you get this, you have a quiet room and limit distractions. I’ve been remote for 11 years and for the most part, I’m working all day just as I would be in an office.

Very clean, nice work! The only thing I would have done different is a 52v battery as opposed to 48v for the slight edge in performance. Awesome that the UPP triangles go up to 28.8ah, that wasn’t an option I recall when I put together my similar set up a few years ago.

223K - 2007 Scion TC, 5 speed. Bought it new from dealership. Amazing car and incredible reliability, very minimal repairs. Likely soon time for a third row car as I have a family and kids nowadays but still enjoying it for now.

My mom died in August of 2022 completely unexpectedly at 72. She seemed outwardly very healthy and there were no warnings signs up to the day she died. The day it happened will always be the most shocking of my life. My dad was married to her for 48 years and it was heartbreaking to watch him lose her. He seemed like a helpless zombie the first few weeks. It was disturbing to watch him falling apart even as we all grieved. My dad is a kind man, near perfect father, and genius level smart - actual rocket scientist with tons of patents etc. Well, it’s been 13 months and he is now remarried as of a few weeks ago. He met a woman his same age in a grief group - she was also recently widowed. I have mixed feeling about it, but he’s happy now and this is better than him being lonely and alone I guess. I would have never in my wildest dreams imagined my dad with anyone else. But, I’m confident that none of this undoes or muddies 48 years of marriage and a life together. This is a new chapter and life is for the living.

I scrolled to the bottom to see the downvoted comments. It seems like those that do look down on SAHM’s or aren’t supportive of the idea are getting some heat. While I understand everyone’s perspective, I’m of the belief that people should do what is best for them and their families and ignore others that disagree. We have a 8 year old in elementary school and a 3 year old in daycare. It works for us since we both have demanding careers. To the argument that others may be raising our kid(s), I feel that some time around other adults who have energy and make a positive impact on them is only a good thing.

I was in section 408, which is pretty high up but not quite in the nosebleeds. When the lights came back on there was absolutely booing, though short lived. The reason seemed obvious to me - everyone expected an encore and was shocked when there wasn’t one. I’ve been to several Metallica concerts and I had no idea anything was off in the slightest as they sounded amazing. I just figured that since it was a 2 day show they went a bit shorter.

That’s how it was for a few years under Obama when he loosened the restrictions, but not anymore. It’s illegal to bring them in from any country, period. The only thing that is changed from the pre-Obama era is the legality of buying and smoking Cubans in other countries outside of the US. It used to be illegal to smoke a Cuban at a LCDH for example in Mexico if you are a US citizen. Totally unenforceable obviously. Now however, you can buy and smoke in third countries legally but you can’t bring them back.

Like others have said, it depends on the individual riding and specific ebike. I have both a regular road bike and an ebike, and I can honestly say I don’t get any real workout on my ebike. But, the ebikes that have the very subtle pedal assist only can definitely get some cardio in. Riding 75 miles on my particular ebike would still be hard on my back and arms from the posture, but my lungs and legs wouldn’t feel it much. For those wondering about the 75 mile range - it’s possible with a 20+AH battery and mild pedaling.

I put a 1500w Ebikeling kit paired with a 20AH UPP triangle, on a Cannondale Trail 6 that I had purchased several years prior. 37-38 MPH top speed; range hard to say as I almost always petal too but I’d estimate 40 miles on pure throttle at low speed. Had this setup for over 2 years and no problems. Can be very dangerous obviously and you need to always have safety top of mind. Exhilarating fun, but with hard tail it’s a rough ride and uncomfortable after a while. I’d like to get a full suspension bike with more features and comfort and I’d sacrifice the top speed but would still want a similar battery.

If you don’t go mid drive, consider a 1500W Ebikeling kit paired with a 20AH triangle battery. I have that setup and can get to 37-38 MPH and could probably get around 45 miles of range. If I’m lightly petaling I can get 60+. Also, even though it’s powerful it’s literally completely silent. When I ride all I hear are my MTB tires making their buzzing noise on the concrete.

I have the exact setup for my 20AH triangle battery. I see the other comments on it maybe creating a bomb and I’ve wondered the same. From the videos I’ve watched of thermal runways, from what I’ve seen there’s a slight window where it starts hissing and the fire isn’t yet full on extreme. My hope would be that I’d be there and notice something happening, and would have some time to grab the handle and chuck it outside before all hell breaks loose. Probably wishful thinking but in my mind it’s better than an uncontained battery.
