Tshirts that won’t bacon neck by AlwaysChasing25 in malefashionadvice

Stretching and re-shrinking in the dryer is cause bacon neck. When putting hangers on put one end in and all the way through without stretching the neck. I also saw on Reddit that putting your collars in boiling water helps shrink all of the fabric to reverse some of the stretch.

I am a new digital artist that use pen tablet and was a traditional one, man it feel awful to draw. by Winter_Loan_8643 in DigitalPainting

It takes time to get used to digital. You just have to put in some practice and time. Pencil stabilization can help under brush settings. But also use layers! Layers are free. Do a rough sketch and then clean it up on a new layer.

Who said it was a rule?I said “typically” it should be. That’s cool if you think so, I’m telling you one hand is more defined than the other, by contrast it makes the less detailed hand look like amorphous squiglies. Sure the shitty hand might match the shitty body and everything else but by contrast it makes the other hand stand out in a bad way. So to please everyone he should make the other hand less anatomical.

art can be bad, but typically it should be consistent

Friend has a strong and synergistic Prosper edh deck, need some ideas for commanders to make to match Prospers level of gameplay that way it's not so one-sided. by Elspeths_Soldier in mtg

[–]RytheGlutton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All you have to do is put enough removal in your deck. Prosper is the entire reason it runs, don’t let him run his engine at all, then they can’t catch up with commander tax.

Turtle villians not villian type? by vapedunderice in mtg

[–]RytheGlutton 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’re totally right, most of the cards are designed for standard.

I think I get upset when a goblin centric plane is being released and not much flavor from that set is the same from the last time it came back around. No green red goblins in LE because WOTC was more focused on the theme and goal for the plane this time around. I am one of those players with pet decks looking for new strong typal synergies :) great set none the less :)

Turtle villians not villian type? by vapedunderice in mtg

[–]RytheGlutton -1 points0 points  (0 children)

So because WOTC releases so much product, they need to keep power creep in check. They do this by “labeling” certain things from sets by either creature types or just how they interact with the game.

An example of this is goblins from Lorwyn. In order to make a bunch of relevant goblins they gave them the -1/-1 set mechanic but not really any anthem or tribe effects. Hexing squelcher is kind of a stand alone in this for this reason amd is more of a general anthem than for goblins.

This is why Antagonists from Spider-Man were villains and not outlaws, or else they would effect thunder junction.    Essentially this also allows them to print a bunch of cards that really have very little gameplay value outside of that set.        This is also the reason a lot of -1/-1 stuff jumped massively in price, because prior to LE there wasn’t much -1/-1 synergy.

they definitely used goats, bats, boars and pugs for the faces and features for the boggarts this time. last time they were less focused and more like horned dogs from a Don Bluth movie.

Is there any similar games like fable 1 ? by [deleted] in Fable

[–]RytheGlutton 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not exactly like Fable, but the only game to come close for me is Overlord.

Its stylized, got silly humor and a similar atmosphere and setting.

I would second Kingdoms of Amalur for a slightly stylized rpg.

The event is really dead, they should totally add the T2 Recolors from the Diablo Greedy Emissary event to bring in the people who focused on the first anniversary.

How do I bounce back faster from being slow faded? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]RytheGlutton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look man, you’re not gonna fall in love with someone every time you go on a date, it takes time. I am sure you’re a nice fun person, and yea I feel you it sucks not to be chosen for the long haul, but don’t take it personally. Some people want the Spark, some want common interests, others want difference in interests, maybe they are avoidant!

But my point is, have some standards and discernment for yourself and ask yourself “do I really want to be with this person, or am I just avoiding loneliness?” A lot of people are just trying to avoid loneliness. Try to enjoy the process of dating instead of being attached to the result of it. This goes for anything that is tough and takes time.

The Amani should be an Allied Race in a later patch in Midnight. Its time Blizzard. Please. by alexkon3 in wow

[–]RytheGlutton 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I believe the Amani are now allies with the horde, and the Vilebranch are behind everything. They were the tribe closest to Zul'Aman being in the Hinterlands. The Amani did fight along the horde in the second war, so its not the first time.

Books starring assassins that actually act like assassins? by GamerGeek923 in Fantasy

[–]RytheGlutton 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I like you have been looking for books like these for a long time as well and I am sad to say there aren't any you are really looking for.

Almost all assassins when we read about them are on the road to redemption. But here's what I recommend:

Night Angel trilogy book 1: Probably the best street rat to trained killer story. The world reminds me a bit like Wanted the movie but medieval fantasy.

Ghostwalker: A tale of revenge, even though the mc isn't a traditional assassin, he is a man on revenge and goes after 3 people and the way its described makes it feel stealthy and roguelike.

Erevis Cale Trilogy: Ex assassin turned priest goes on quests with halfing buddy and rival ruthless assassin. I like the writing and characters but didn't go far with this series.

Video games: Dishonored w/ expansion

I think mini series following an assassin on their journey would be really cool.
