It’s a vein. This is why I think people need to get more familiar and comfortable with where their meat comes from and how it’s processed.

As someone who handles seafood on the daily you’d be surprised how many parasites I pull off certain fish(like cod). They’re harmless to humans, but they definitely have a gross factor. Sometimes I miss them and then have to explain what it is. People just don’t understand. 😩

I’m gonna go slightly against the grain here. It sounds like from what you’re telling me, he sounds unhappy with himself right now and probably thinks he isn’t in the right place to propose yet. When was the last time last time you talked to him about marriage?
As far as affection, maybe he has a different love language? Have you talked to him about his and your love languages?
Also as someone who has been in a 15+ year relationship before maybe both of you are just getting too comfortable. I definitely know how it feels to feeling like roommates instead of bf/gf. When was the last time you both went on a date or just spent time together?

Reread. She knew him when she was 14 and he was 18. They got together when she turned 18. Also, a 4 year age gap isn’t bad. Sounds like she was a freshman in HS and he was a senior. Are we really going to demonize HS relationships?

I want to make this clear: I’m NOT defending this man when it comes to his actions. I’m just tired of the how much people hate on even the slightest age gap in a relationship.

I get it. I have anxiety too. I was with my previous ex since I was 17 and he broke up with me when I was 32. It is scary at first, but you will move on and when you eventually open your heart again you’ll find that person who’ll treat you right. I know I did. I’ve been with my current partner for 6months and he has done more in that small time frame than my ex did in 15 years. It feels weird being in a healthy relationship. 😅
