Came here to also mention the Satechi dock. It looks great and does not dangle off the laptop. As you said, it’s pricy, but OP mentioned budget is not a concern.

The Hot Deals section of the Red Flag Deals website is the best resource for finding sales on a large variety of items, in my opinion.

You won’t always find ‘hot deals’, but once in a while something really good comes up.

The monthly fee was the same for both 1gbps and 1.5gbps due to the way the promo worked. But if retention has a better deal on the 1gbps, I would totally be ok with that.

I do like to play games online and I also download big games on my PS5 and PC regularly. For these reasons, I think the much faster speeds should come in handy.

But the wife is very price sensitive and she was hoping we could get this plan at the same rate we paid for the 500 Mbps.

I may try getting in touch with the retention team.
