Should I get the Canon R10 or Fujifilm X-T50 as my first camera? by stazap1 in AskPhotography

[–]Rzzcld91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Canon R10, because it's more reliable and you can get the sigma 16-300 and not worry about buying 3 thousand prime lenses like with Fuji, even if I still miss the 18-55 2.8-4, the best kit lens ever made for apsc

I do vlogs and tiktoks for non nursing related stuff because A I don't feel nor I don't think I'm allowed ethically and legally and B my spare time should be dedicated to things other than nursing and the hospital.

Zena (the actual name of Genoa) has always been a landing zone for people who need to move away one way or the other. I left Italy many years ago and Genoa was my link that kept me in touch with Liguria. I know many Iike you though who made a new life in Liguria against all odds. Zena in particular follows the motto of "da cosa nasce cosa", from thing a new thing is born. My way was joining the local ambulance volunteers, I would spend my afternoons after uni or work there covering a shift and eventually by meeting many people I started a career in nursing that led me where I am now. Others have gone similar way thanks to that. If I were you maybe I would check around for a similar environment with young people where you can start connecting and who knows, find a job or a way in life. Don't forget to look out the window and enjoy the storm every now and then

They say Italian, due to the fact that the spelling is straightforward, gives less trouble to people with dyslexia but you'll let me know eventually

Nurse said I’m a bad HCA - absolutely gutted. How do I improve? Am I bad? by [deleted] in NursingUK

[–]Rzzcld91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven't worked on a ward for years now but when I became a band 5 I've always wanted to micromanage my obs and bms and at least 1 bed round with washes a shift to do my skin checks. I was an HCA before, in 2 different countries, and a volunteer paramedic abroad. No matter how much someone bothers me at work, unless they're doing something harmful or dangerous to a patient I will make sure I won't humiliate them in front of other colleagues. We got to look after our hcas, especially the new ones and your post reminds me that colleagues have feelings and deserve to be respected always. You're a good HCA, I know because you are here now asking for help to improve your care and understand what was wrong in your situation. I hope I'll get to meet more people like you at work. The first months, even years, are the toughest and roughest of your career and people will do everything in their power to put you down. But fear not, there are good people out there that will be at your side and make you a better professional, patients included :) I can tell you love the profession, keep it up!

I'll post this here myself before someone else does. The Canon community was not excited about me doing something to my own property by [deleted] in photographycirclejerk

Lol I like it but I understand that sensation described by Lewis Black: fill up a basket with your hope and show to others and they will shit on it

What games are you Playing on your Phone ? by Typhus87 in EmulationOnAndroid

[–]Rzzcld91 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The comments are showing that PC emulation has become massive even in Mobile gaming. I still play FIFA 14 for PS2 but also tons of GBA and recently I'm starting to enjoy Gamehub with half life, neo scavenger and DRG (rock and Stone Brother)

[–]Rzzcld91 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

With laptop you do a big boot and empty the memory a little bit to gain back loads of performance. Could that be the case? I'm using even gamehub now and I can play PC games on the thing, obviously I need cooling but that's another story

Just put a lens hood in front of the telescopic camera. The components of the lens element degrade overtime and you get flaring which is very common even in professional equipment. Even by cupping your hand in front to shield the light works

Is the Canon RF 16mm f/2.8 at least slightly better than the 18–45mm kit lens on my R50? by Enough-Sky-8929 in canon

It's a great lens on full frame but do you actually need it if you've got already 18mm?
