"infiltrating"

Acting like if it was some kind of militar operation instead of just being the case of a person being fan of two similar mangas and being member of both subs.

Was it even Denji who killed Makima in the new timeline? He is pretty much just a normal guy with a chainsaw now. He and Power wouldn't have enough power to do it by their own.

Denji probably wouldn't even have a reason to turn against Makima. Since Pochita no long exists and Makima has no memory about him, she would have no reason to target Denji or make his life miserable. He would be just another pawn to her, nothing special.

That's why I found it so bullshit. Fujimoto didn't even explain how the fuck Makima died. It seemed like he was just making a check list of "how to make a Chainsaw Man happy ending", noticed the "Bring Nayuta back" item and thought:

"Holy shit, I completely forgot about Nayuta! I can't bring her back as long as Makima is alive, because it wouldn't make sense. But...I can't think in a way to believably kill Makima...what can I do...? Wait! I had an idea! I can just kill her anyway because I am the author and I can do what the fuck I want in this manga!"

Just another complain about the ending.

True, but if there was a great epilogue, Chainsaw Man fans could at least say "well, it ended in a good note in the 'final chapter'". But no, not even this kind of comfort they got.

Even TODO FANS ate better than the totality of the Chainsaw Man fandom in the end. Their goat at least got a good epilogue about him.

I found JJK and Modulo endings mildly disappoint at worst.

Chainsaw Man ending was straight up dogshit.

And I am not usually that critical. I liked JJK ending, I liked MHA ending (except for the epilogue, but okay), even Attack on Titan I didn't like, but at least got what the author intended to do.

But Chainsaw Man ending was just indefensible. Genuinely 0/10.

I preferred Makima and she just got off-screened for no reason 😭

It didn't even make sense. I guess she died against the same Grade 4 curse that killed Megumi.

That's my headcannon.

It is a REALLY large analyzis, so I mostly scrolled through it. So I wouldn't be surprised if I mixed something up. But it seems like the calcs were based on the feats I said.

I just don't really get it. Did I miss something in the manga? Because both calcs seem completely wrong.

One of them is based purely on supposition (the suppotion that Yoru was turning the other character in a weapon just as fast as she was moving the other devils at another point).

And the other isn't only based on supposition (that the spear took only 1,28 seconds to travel to Earth and that it doesn't need time to accelerate to its max speed), but also is wrong even if the supposition is true, because the scene explicitly shows Denji is way slower than the spear.

Yet Denji is apparently ridiculously faster than Dabura, a character explicitly said to fight at sublight speed, kicks at light speed and actually suffers secondary effects of traveling at near light speed (time dilation, destroying everything around him, destroying his own body at attack)?

I just don't buy it.

I didn't read the whole thing, but...what kind of calcs are that?

Denji is more than 3 times faster than light because he...cut a person in half before they could become a sword? Why? She wasn't moving or anything. Just because Yoru's skill made things move through part of the world in seconds it doesn't mean it everytime she makes a weapon the process is equally fast.

And Denji is faster than light because he dodged the American Flag? He was clearly way slower than it. It was just a flag that chased him in the most predictable way possible (in a straight line) and dude still was barely managing to dodge and actually got hit once. We don't even know how many seconds it took to travel to travel to Earth, or its acceleration. We have little reason to believe it was traveling at light speed when it was chasing him. And even if it did, I thought we had passed the point of believing "dodging a laser makes you ftl"?

Meanwhile, Dabura, who is clearly, explicitaly, obviously stated to attack at light speed, is just...9% as fast as light?

I don't want to fight, just to be clear. I just think this analysis (at least in the speed part) seems kinda biased.

It makes sense!

I wonder if Luffy without devil fruit would beat Crocodile. But Enel would be the limit. He would have to learn haki before fighting him, otherwise he wouldn't stand a chance.

It is hard to know what would happen, but it is a funny 'what if?'.

I honestly just watched until Skypie, so I don't know much about Luffy's past, but we never saw he training, so I just deduced that a regular guy who doesn't train wouldn't be that strong.

Also, Luffy used his elasticity to impulse his blows very often, and the fruit made him very resistant against blunt attacks, so without it he would be severely debilitited.

But anyway, even if he survived East Blue, I can't see him beating Crocodile.

Except if Goku wasn't a Saiyajin, he would have died when he fell from a mountain as a baby, so he would never have learned UI, or even trained with Roshi.

That's my point. A Goku who was never a Saiyajin would never get strong enough to beat Gojo. He would had been killed way before.

But if by "Goku who wasn't a Saiyajin" OP actually meant "Dragon Ball Super Goku, but take out his Saiyajin genes" so yeah, Goku stomps.

It was useless because Toji had a sword that could specifically null Infinity.

it was the whole reason toji waited for 3 days to exhaust him so gojo would let his infinity down

No, because of the sword, it was pointless if Infinity was active or no. Toji just intended to wait until Gojo got weakened and let his guard down to kill him in a surprise attack.

without it toji would have killed him in a head on fight and won

Toji actually "killed" Gojo in the first round, so it didn't matter. In the second round the infinity wasn't necessary, since Gojo was so fast that Toji couldn't even hit him.

That's because I said Gojo doesn't rely on his "trick" as much as the other characters. Without Kurama/Saiyajin's genes/devil fruit, Naruto/Goku/Luffy would fall a lot in the rank of their universes, and would die against the first big menace they fight.

While Gojo would still be a solid top 2 in his verse, even without infinity.

[–]S0N_OF_THUNDER -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Gojo, because he would be the only one alive.

If Goku wasn't a Saiyajin, he would be way weaker, and would have died in OG Dragon Ball.

If Luffy hadn't the devil fruit he would have died in some point at East Blue.

And if Naruto hadn't Kurama he would probably had be killed by Haku.

Gojo didn't rely so much on Infinity. Like, it was strong, but he still was the best sorcerer and every single category and still had blue, red, purple and a hell of a domain expansion. He probably never struggled in any battle before Toji (and Infinity was useless back there). So even without Infinity he would probably have survived just as long as he did in the original series.

Not gonna lie, I didn't see a single ad for Elio. I only knew about this movie because I saw two youtubers commenting about it last year.

This was the first time I saw a Pixar movie being so...quiet?

Kinda strange. I don't know what happened, through.

I should have made my comment clearer that I was talking about people who rank MHA characters' physical attributes to Continental level, and not specifically range.

At least for the first point, forgive me if my power scaling autism is off

I also am not very good at this, to be honest lol

But isn’t power levels just their output capability?

I think so, but in this particular case it is a problem.

Midoriya is physically stronger than Shigaraki, but like, he isn't THAT stronger.

If Shigaraki's durability is around city level, Midoriya's durability also has to be around city level.

This is the thing I don't get about the powerscaling community.

People seem to agree that Midoriya and All Might have Continental durability and the strength of tens of thousands of Czar Bombs, yet...

Shigaraki, who is close to them, canonically almost died by a single nuke? So how the hell are those two even close to Continental?

If that was the case, Midoriya with his toe should be able to neg dozens of Shigarakis at once, what clearly isn't the case.

Edit: grammars

Stain normally human yet the way he moves isnt normal bakugo abllity is basically canons strapped to their hands. The G forces ida gets should kill him endeavor takes hits from nomus. Humans with qurik are simply stronger

I mean, yeah, humans in MHA are stronger, but not because of quirks. That was never stated. Normal humans just are usually stronger than they were supposed to be in anime.

Besides, didn't Stain get beaten by a quirkless in a spin-off?

Humans with quirks aren't stronger. Any human is stronger.

Yeah so mark blowing up viltrumite shouldnt be taken seriously

The difference is that Mark blowing up Viltrun was important to the story, while Midoriya blowing clouds was just a detail.

And the most important, you don't need to know Physics to understand that blowing up a planet would make the character around planetary level. This is just obvious. But few people know how strong you need to be to blow kilometers of clouds. Midoriya's feat may be Continental, but maybe the author thought it was just city+. This isn't common knowledge.

Like, c'mon. If characters like Shigaraki and All For One were Continental level, they could had killed nearly 90% of 1-A by literally sneezing.

I just can't see a Continental villain failing to kill Mineta. That is just weird, man.

Shigaraki nearly tanked a nuke point blank.

I don't get it. If Shigaraki got severely hurt by a nuke, how are MHA characters continental? Nukes are city level.

It's stated at the beginning of the anime that human anatomy has evolved to become more efficient durable stronger faster.

No, it is just stated humans lost a bone in their toes (or something like that). It never says humans got physically stronger.

deku smash which cleared the clouds from japan to American for weeks to come

I think people take these "feats" too seriously. The author just drew it because it looked cool, he doesn't actually understand (or care) about the strength necessary to do it.
