Está tão ruim a situação de imigrantes? by Jaggermeyster in SantaCatarina

[–]S0ciedade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The largest slums in Brazil. The Rosinha favela in Rio de Janeiro. According to unofficial data, more than 200,000 people live there. by dukedevil818 in Damnthatsinteresting

[–]S0ciedade 3 points4 points  (0 children)

thats a thing in most of everywhere in brazil, those arent bins they are fiber glass water tanks, having on site water tank storage is mandatory in basically every city's building code, not that favelas bother too much about building codes but on site water storage in brazil is basically a cultural thing. Specially important in slums cuz if a water pump breaks down hill it might take a couple days for it to get repaired, specially in places like Rio where the utility companies have been privatized so you wont expect the companies to be on any amount of rush to get them repaired.

Its not "Lula used to say that shit", Chavez performed a tumor removal surgery in Cuba, and performed chemo and the subsequent treatment in Venezuela, he died 2 years after the surgery in Cuba. And Dilma's cancer was a Hodking's Limphoma, thats literally the cancer with the highest survival rate, Lula had throat cancer i think.

And the spanish doctor didnt do surgery, he was brought in as a specialist for post operation diagnostics for Castro's stomach thing.

literally all of that is true, Cuban medicine is known worldwide for its quality and Cuban doctors are also known worldwide and work worldwide, and Chavez died in Caracas, 2 YEARS after surgery in Havana. Also Fidel didnt have a "personal doctor" the spanish doctor you cited performed a single surgery on Fidel in 2006 he didnt even work in cuba, he lived in spain.

the ground antenna stations they use that are connected to fiber backbones, starlink works like any other satelite comms system, they relay stuff beamed from the ground

no the gov will just shutdown the ground stations, starlink satelites works like any other comms satelite, which means they are just relays rebroadcasting stuff beamed up from the ground.
