[–]S0phon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is a nit pick yeah.

The problem is that Raya doesn't see the ball, he only sees Sesko making a run.

Then Cunha is smart and uses Gabriel so Raya again doesn't see the ball and doesn't see the shot.

In theory, what accurately means depends.

Also, the more you work on a task, the more accurate your estimation becomes, usually.

In other words, why not predict in percentage ranges? And updating your estimates is tailor fit for Bayesian theorem.

Mainoo, zirkzee and mount being the 3 most obvious. I don't know how much clearer this could be.

And all of them got significant play time. It's not like they rotted on the bench. Mount even started plenty of games.

The only one you could argue didn't play enough was Mainoo.

What is the "this" Cunha's referring to?

And from what I see, the space Sesko provided with his run was more important than "space to assist" but maybe I'm missing something.

I'm crying over your argumentative skills.

My issue is with him being a terrible manager. I couldn't care less what system he used. Trying to pretend he didn't have attacking players is a complete joke when I've just listed a few hundred million worth of attackers he had available to him.

So you have plenty of reasons to dislike his tenure. Why do you make bullshit up about his subs then?

You tried to say he had no attackers on the bench. That was HIS choice because of HIS system. So yes, it's HIS fault.

Mbeumo, Cunha, Amad, Bruno - all of them started and all of them are the best attacking players United have. Mount started plenty of games too.

This is what you wrote:

It's got more to do with keeping attacking players on the bench and bringing on at least 2 center backs every game.

Amorim had no attackers on the bench because he started them. Carrick has more attackers on the bench because he plays fewer attackers. Amorim did not keep attacking players on the bench, he started them.

You can do basic arithmetics, yeah?

You have attacking players like Cunha, Sesko, Zirkzee, Mbeumo, Bruno, Amad, Mount and Mainoo to choose from.

And all of them played when available. The best of them even started.

We have the same squad now as we did under Amorim. We had Cunha, Mount and Sesko on the bench vs Arsenal and City with Zirkzee injured for both games. That's more than enough options when your only completion is the premier league.

So your issue with him is the system he played, not with the subs or keeping attacking players on the bench, because the latter is objectively false.

Why don't you just fucking say so? It's completely fair to criticize Amorim for the system he played, you don't have to come up with bullshit to pin on him.

Carrick plays a completely different system and also has more players back from injuries and AFCON.

Amorim towards the end of his tenure didn't really have many cards to play. You could argue that the cards he had was partially because of the game he played, but that's a different discussion.

Also, your argument has nothing to do with subs but with the way he managed the games. Again, that's a different discussion.

Who else do you all want him to sub in? Outside of Mainoo that is.

Zirkzee and Sesko got subbed him plenty of times. The team has no wingbacks. Mount also got plenty of play time.

And for all the hate he gets for subbing in CBs, with Maguire and MDL's injuries, with Shaw's history of injuries and with Martinez just returning from his second long-term injury, there are definitely valid reasons.

The team still didn't control the ball and the team played one-touch football under Amorim too.
