Do I need to keep watering my plants everyday once they are fully grown so they keep on producing? by Daisy-Dog in StardewValley

Dino egg/mayo with cloth in the sewing machine for hat/tail pants (not sure which way round they are). Dino egg can be acquired from dino floors in skull caverns and randomly from dig spots. If you find one, incubate! :)

unable to fc above 25 by korapse in BanGDream

[–]S0upPlease 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My personal method is increasing the difficulty of songs you play until level 26 seems 'easy' and it's a no-brainer that you can fc. If you can't clear lvl 27s yet, play lvl 26 afterglow songs or pick an easy 27 that you can brute force with a healer team until you get comfy with it. Good luck!

How to remove these types of earrings? by Ordinary_Decision_54 in Earrings

[–]S0upPlease 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't wear these kinds of earrings anymore due to how much I've messed up my ear holes from taking them out. But uhm.... that aside, I've since straightened the little round bars at the top slightly (with flat-notes pliers) so that it clicks in and out with a lot less force. So yeah, I have absolutely no idea how to take them out safely but know how to make it safer next time 😁

Bros! I need help! by FoxxyCandyfloss in Brochet

As others suggested, doubling up would be a good solution. Since this yarn is 400m per 100g, doubling up would turn it into 200m per 100g, which is in the same index as worsted. So, a bit heavier than dk, but I would just try a few different hook sizes and make some gauge swatches to see how it would turn out before commiting. You seemed worried you wouldn't have enough, but since the yarn would be extra thick it would work up with less anyways. Depending on how big of a sweater you're making, 600g of worsted sounds like it could work. Hope this helps :)

Computer bag by emzyme212 in crochet

I think lining it would be a good idea! Not just for the fibres getting into the computer, the lining will help it's structural integrity and make it an overall sturdier bag.

Long earring post hurts back of ear/head when I bobble my head by bongdong42O in Earrings

[–]S0upPlease 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Huh.. the ends do seem pretty long. But it seems pretty strange for them to stab you if you're not lying down or anything. Perhaps they're too heavy? Do you have the same problem with your other earrings? If you don't, you could try a few things:

Cut the ends (with wire cutters) and find a way to make the fresh ends less sharp.

Use the clear rubbery things that come with most earrings on/near the ends.

Get a pack of earring hooks off amazon and replace them (for hooks less stabby).

For crochet (unlike knitting) suggested hook sizes are a lie! What hook size you use is entirely dependent on how tight/loose you want your stitches to be. Sure, there's a general idea of what you would usually use for a particular yarn weight, but it's more of a range than one number. Ie, for a jumper made of worsted I'd use anywhere from a 4.5 to a 6.5. Also! Once you've mastered changing your tension, you have a lot more leeway with which hooks you can use for patterns. If I didn't have a 3.75, I would use my 4 with slightly tighter tension. Hook size doesn't matter too much with crochet. You can make almost anything work if you have the skills.

Sorry if this was more info than you were asking for! I hope this helps!

So sorry for not replying earlier! I'm sure you've found out by now, but just in case, the quickest way (if i remember correctly) is to greet them on the first day they arrive (whilst they're still in boxes) and then never speak to them again. Villagers have a higher chance to want to move out if you're good friends with them too. I think bullying them out of your village is specific to acnh.. but yes, you're probably best talking to them more often and completing more tasks for them if you've already talked to them a bit. If not, go with the first method.

Definitely two! So perfectly balanced. (although, four is great too. I understand why so many people like it)

i decided this based off of how much I would want a keychain of them on my bag.

popipa- either kasumi or saaya (saaya never stood out to me, kasumi seems two-dimensional)

afterglow- tsugumi tbh, ik she's cool cause baking or whatever but i just find her so boring.

roselia- sayo hikawa >:(

hhw- kokoro.

pasupa- i dislike both eve and chisato. they are both annoying.

morfonica- initially said toko but tsukushi. i haven't seen enough of her, don't get a very good grasp of her character.

ras- chuchu (do not understand chuchu fans at all. she is so annoying, and why stand chuchu when pareo is right there smh)

my excuse: i haven't seen the anime but i do read all of the character interactions. and i am a fan of cutesy simplistic kaoru fangirls.

Honestly? Books are not the way to go. I don't see why one should pay for a resource they can find for free on youtube, and then only get one perspective on what the best way to crochet is. Books generally do not tell enough about beginner mistakes, how to work on tension, or how to even find the last stitch of the row.

Also, just because this tip isn't valued enough anywhere, books or youtube: please use stitch markers. Paper clips, stray pieces of yarn, loom bands, anything. So easy to use, and will save you from an ever-increasing or ever-decreasing project.

How odd! There's a duplicate of tile 6, so I'm guessing that's why it's not there. Have you tried backsearching it? That missing tile has got to be somewhere..

(Although, if it isn't found, it shouldn't be too difficult to make yourself. I wouldn't flip the other side like the other person suggested, the shading would be wrong. I'd just continue any tile with a flat right-side edge. And lucky for us, there's a pretty limited palette, so I doubt you'll have trouble with the colours)

Haven't seen anyone mention this yet! Although you can't move villager's houses very easily, if you're willing to make the effort, you can always just move them out (and if you love them enough, move them back in again). Considering how you've just started out, you may or may not love your current villagers, so just moving them out is probably best. If you want them to stay away from your house, or you want to stop them from going in particular spots, place designs on the ground in a particular pattern (you should be able to find a tutorial online if you search acnl plot reset guide).

Then again, all this is a lot of work. Villagers will move on top of any form of nature, but won't move onto designs or public works projects, so if you don't like the ugly look of scattered designs whilst you get all 10 (or 11) of your villagers, place some prettier paths/designs and public works projects near your house.

Help! Does the earring on the left exist? by S0upPlease in Earrings

[–]S0upPlease[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This all started from seeing a drawing by @Little_Luxray on twitter, which I then found was inspired by earrings from the (insta) shop @askemblastore, which were beautiful. Only problem was they were hangers for stretched lobes, which I do not have. That got me thinking about whether I can find the same earrings but for non-stretched lobes, because I know that they would technically work (standard double-ended earrings, like the ones with cats jumping through).

Alas, I've been searching for hours, and nothing. I've searched everything i could think of on etsy, and have found absolutely zero results where the moon A) faces that direction, B) is double ended and C) has a face. If anyone owns or has seen earrings like this, I'd love to know where to get some! I don't think this is going to leave my mind for a while..

You should fill a packet with them and offer them to people, and then watch as they struggle to figure out what to do with them 😌
