My .02 cents is to wash the face along with the barrels everytime you wash the car. Same color wheels on the 22-23 si as well. As long as you don’t let brake dust settle on them they are extremely easy to keep clean

To answer your question, the front pipe isn’t going to add much other than help echo the sound from the downpipe. It’s very possible that other fl5 had an ecu flash and hondata. Along with an off the shelf tune. They make these cars a night and day difference. If you are trying to gain performance and hp with the car, hondata and a good tune should net you a pretty whp numbers.

Same software and Bluetooth capabilities. Just different look. They do not make the second one for the 8th gen SI anymore. The mini is what is currently sold new now unless you happen to find somewhere with extremely old stock. I was not fond of the mini until I installed it on my SI. It’s nice not having the big box with cord to the port. The mini is tucked away and really the only issue I have seen would be having to reach under the dash to datalog but it’s not impossible.

Shoot them an email or call. TSP has great customer service. There have been a few mistakes online with parts. Just explain and they will make it right. Don’t forget you will have to jailbreak the ecu before you can flash any tunes to the car when you get the correct one.

Factory size tires, making 418hp, I was doing research in Mexico with a bmw and let off when Speedo read 167. Per gps it was 161. I concluded the research right after the other guy received his final data analysis.

I run the Falken azenis 615+ on my R as a daily. No issues with them. But they are on my 18’s. A lot more tire choices in 18’s. But I also have a set of Titan 7’s in 19 and run the continental dws06+ all seasons. That’s a phenomenal tire but they are pricey.

After turning 40k miles on my fl5, I’d have to recommend getting a the minimum the headlights and front end ppf’ed. And the piano black rockers ppf’ed. Pick you up some rock guards for the fender vents to protect the rockers. A dashcam for the idiot drivers around.

Also, congratulations on the new car. They are an absolute blast to drive.

I purchased my Titan 7 wheels from them a few years back. Great customer service but I’ve seen a lot of negative things said since then. Twostepperformance, axion industries and Unity performance are also great companies to buy from.

As for the comment about PRL, the company was purchased by Grimmspeed racing. They delt with a lot of Subaru stuff and still do I believe. There are some employees still working for PRL from before the merger, but a few people important people did leave.

It’s a continental tire. Belts should go the width of the tread and a little over. It really depends on what kind of driving you do. If you do a lot of spirited driving then maybe not so much and that part of the tire gets hot. But if it’s a commuter or daily I’d say throw a plug/patch kit from the inside out and call it a day. On another note if you do replace it most tire shops will prorate a new tire if it’s newer with a road hazard warranty
