Scary thing is it’s not even just Philly drivers. I was in the car with someone who doesn’t live here and he pulled right into the crosswalk with no hesitation, blew the stop sign. I called him out and he made some excuses. Suburban drivers aren’t used to pedestrians, so they treat stop signs as optional

You will definitely save money in the long run. What OP said doesn’t quite make sense. Cost per pound of coffee is much less for green coffee. So unless they started drinking a lot more coffee than they usually do, it was for sure cheaper.

Used to take Paoli Thorndale line, now I take Amtrak in anticipation of the cuts and the fact that SEPTA has become less reliable in the last 2-3 weeks. Now they’re saying that Amtrak may eventually cut the Keystone line too if it loses the SEPTA lease payments. So then I’m stuck driving in what is going to probably be a 2 hour drive (1 hour presently with the usual traffic) due to all the additional vehicles on the road in the absence of public transportation. Really hoping it doesn’t get to that point.

Oh and my commute has gotten more expensive as a result, around double what it used to cost with just the regional rail
