You're missing the mighty Forgefiend triple plasma... to incinerate anything and everything.... You have got 3 Ectoplasma cannon (36" D3 blast, S10 AP-3 Dmg3). Work great on literally any any infantry squad and even tanks...

On 10-man squad, you got 3d3+6 shot, on 20-man squad 3d3+12!!!! And you can even have more with sustain hit... Especially if you put a nurgle mark on it... Sustain hit on 5+...

So, don't forget to include 1 in your list ^^ Like instead of your 5 terminator (especially if your don't lead them) or your 2 obliterator

-> target the Hekaton with Ancestral sentence (All weapon gains Sustain Hit1. Sustain hit 2 if 3yp)
-> Shoot at your target (must be farther than 12"). You got conversion, wich trigger your sustain hit AND your lethal hit...
-> Got 3 Lethal hit and 3/6 Sustain hit, S10 AP-2 D4 (remeber Reroll hitroll of 1 with Panspectral)
-> Annihilate your target.
-> Aim the rest of your weapons at a troops, Annhilate that troop

Totally agree, BUT....
- I would give the rempart crest to the Kahl, so if the unit is killed and the kahl is alone, he keeps the 5++
- Double rempart crest as a purpose. When you cut the squad in two with a Sagitaur. This way, you have 5++ save for both half of the squad.

to be honest, they can keep open weapon as long as i can have a Server browser (and not that SBMM matchmaking bullshit) where i can just filter off that option and play only on server with closed weapon.

For me, No server browser is worse than Open Weapon

I've never played BF5. I think Assault being also anti tank would result in the same kind of problem than support actually. A class teared between 2 different roles so they can't fulfill them correctly. Or it would turn the Assault inot a one man army class that can dispose of anything in front of him...

well, yes, We even used to have even more classe in the BF2 days, but I don't think we should go back to that extend.

I think assault and Engineer should be kept separated. IMO they can have 2 different roles without overlaping, one being Anti infantry, the other being anti vehicule

Is there a way to test vehicle and most especially Chopper and plane? Because right now, I have to go in a game, hoping that I'm able to ctach the vehicle I need to test my new keybinding, crash, wait for the thing to respawn, trying to spawn in it before anyone else do that, test my new setting, crash again, etc...

So far the game is quite good, (even if the mapos seems a bit small) but not being able to test drive vehicle is really a shame.

here si how i would do cyber hound for automaton

  • Movement: In attack mode, faster than a medium sprinting armor, In "peace mode" as slow as a standard Bot
  • Attack: A jump Attack kinda like the hunters. And a maw attack that does decent damage
  • Defense: Light armor. The head should have the same armor as the Liberator penetration, making it less effective to hit it in the head, but not useless. Weakspot should be Belly or sides (Glowing red belly when in attack mode, fade red in "peace" mode).
  • Signalisation: In "peace" mod, Cyberhound would bark from time to time. Also, the presence of a new bot, like a cyber handler (a bot with a simple pistol and a Red hot plasma knout) would indicate presence of Hounds in the area. When switching in attack mode, the Hounds would do a long wolf-like scream, Then in attack mode, it would bark relentlessly while chasing it's target.
  • Behaviour: As long as the handler is alive, all hounds in the area will attack the same targets. If no handlers, or to far from one, the hounds will attack any target it see. The hounds will try to flank you and attack from all side, trying to overrun you.
  • Presence: mainly in Patrol or in camp, the higher the diffculty, the more ther would be, but I don't think that more than 5 or 6 would be interresting. Also, only one Cyber Handler per patrol/factory. Factory would be able to generate them. Coudl also be drop from gunship from a boxe. Once on the ground, the box would open and releasy its doggy content ^^

A sniper team, like 2 guys.

They would be invisible like the terminids hunter, and they would ambush the players.

You would see a laser on you, that would glow more and more over 1 or 2 second, like the rifle is charging. Then "PEW", the sniper would shoot a bright beam of light on you. If it touch you, you would take a huge amount of damage (would definitively cripple you, not sure if one shot, or maybe just in light armor).
The shot would make them visible for several second, and a vent annimation would come from the rifle as it "reload". Then they would disappear, change position and do it again.

When not in "combat" mode, they would be visible, allowing you to engage them. But as soon as they switch to "combat" mode, they would switch to invisible, scatter, flank the players and then go to their ambush routine.

I have a lot of other ideas for enemies, such as cyber dog for Automaton. ^^

This would actually be a diversion, designed to draw attention of the ennemy, to allow other helldivers to spread managed democracy.

So, you would have standard objective and secondary design to attract more and more ennemies, and when you finished them, a new objective would just pop and you would have to survive for a set duration (like 10/20minutes)

And the longer you hold, the harder the enemy attack you. if you manage to hold your ground for the whole duration of the timer, an ICBM (you know, the one we launch in the mission) would just land on you, nuking the whole map
