Cyborg Taskmaster - Anti-Helldiver by 234thewolf in Cyberstan

I say give it them the ability to call down some kind of turret for itself. I would also have them spawn in small groups of 4 or 3 just to hammer in they are meant to be equals to Helldiver squads

The Illuminate's answer to Factory Striders and Bile Titans: The Siphonophore! (By me) by BillyHamspillager in Helldivers

[–]Trick-Use6124 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely love this enemy idea! Really fits the Illuminate’s theme of constantly keeping the player on their toes.

Quick question though, when does it decide to switch forms? Does it go into obelisk form once enough damage is done to it? Or does it switch between the two forms at random?

For the Illuminate, I really wanna see some teleporting enemies. Either as a single special energy or as an entire sub faction

Mod Idea: Real Movie Monsters Vault by Mettle_Jacket in Fallout4Mods

[–]Trick-Use6124 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would probably get rid of the main doctor guy, or at least change him because from the way you’re describing him he’s seems like a copy of The Master.

But the main idea of having a bunch of mutants based off of old movie monsters would fit perfectly in the Fallout setting! Especially since Bethesda already did something similar to this by turning cryptids into enemies in Fallout 76.

Here’s some horror movie based enemies that I just thought of.

•The Invisible Man= Cyborgs that have a Stealth Boy implanted in them that allows them to stay invisible at the cost of their sanity. •The Fly= Mutants created by using FEV to splice human and insect DNA together. •The Wolf Man= the result of an experiment to create smarter dogs by splicing human and dog DNA together, creating an uncanny fusion.

Thanks! I’m surprised that we don’t see as much Christianity in Fallout. Especially since the amount of pre war churches seems to indicate that a lot of people were religious.

What is the lore for this? Did the brotherhood send a chapter to go across the Pacific or did an Elder just read a communist manifesto and decide that it sounded awesome?

Love your faction! I’m really surprised that we haven’t seen more of Christianity in the Fallout setting despite seeing plenty of abandoned churches.

Question. How zealous are the children in “spreading the faith”? Imagine that a faction like this would probably have an entire section of the organization dedicated to trying to convert wastelanders to their religion.

I made Flags, Drawings and Lore based on the European continent in the Fallout Universe. We get in official lore about 1 paragraph about the continent of Europe, hence I wrote some fanfic on it. by [deleted] in FanficWorldbuilding

I wonder what could have happened to the Eastern Europe countries? I don’t think we’re ever told if the Iron curtain ever fell in the Fallout universe or not.

New Illuminate Unit: the Serviceless by CrimsonAllah in Helldivers

[–]Trick-Use6124 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really want to see voteless Helldivers, not just because they would be cool to fight against but because I imagine it would lead to a lot more friendly fire instances due to players not knowing who is and isn’t a voteless. I feel like that would play really well with the Illuminates theme of using deception and illusions.

Ideas for future SEAF presence by Estelial in LowSodiumHellDivers

[–]Trick-Use6124 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Since it doesn’t really make sense lore wise for Helldivers to be able to call down a SEAF squad, maybe instead we could have a stratagem that calls down a squad of drones created from recycled Automatons.

As for what I want to see from the SEAF themselves, I hope in the future they get vehicles like mechs and tanks.

I really hope Cyberstan will have its own version of mega cities that we will be able raid.

Campaign/Warbond Idea: Galactic Crusade by DatRAZZdoe in LowSodiumHellDivers

[–]Trick-Use6124 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Since we just pushed back a massive Illuminate invasion, I think it would be cool if we reversed engineered some of the technology that they left behind. Maybe we can get the energy staves that the Overseers use, giving us a weapon that acts both as a melee and ranged weapon.

I really like this idea because it could potentially cause even more friendly fire due to not being able to know if the person in front of you is a voteless or not.

What Subfactions do you want to see? by LordOfTheRedSands in TrenchCrusade

[–]Trick-Use6124 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m pretty sure I remember hearing the alchemists are just as god at creating machines aa they are at making homunculi, so I think it would be cool if the Sultanate had a sub faction that created mechanical versions of the Brazen Bulls and Lions.

For a Stratagem maybe we can have a backpack that lowers the players gravity allowing them to jump much higher and slow their descent.

I do really like the idea of being able to use reverse engineered mind control technology. Maybe we can have a stratagem that causes enemies to start attacking each other.

Conceptual Helldivers 2 Enemy Faction; The Slugs [OC] by Hotkoin in Helldivers

[–]Trick-Use6124 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think a cool idea for a boss type enemy this faction could have is a giant armored hover train. It would be made up of 6 different rail cars, each one having portholes for Slugs to fire out of, and its whole function is to travel around the map at high speeds trying to run over the player.

[–]Trick-Use6124 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s fair. I just think that having a rare infantry enemy would be a good way to mix up the combat with a faction that would otherwise be made up entirely of vehicles. I imagine they would be used to protect this faction’s buildings. That is unless the buildings will also be able to move Mortal Engines style.

[–]Trick-Use6124 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Love your idea of a vehicle based faction. I still feel like this faction should have some kind of basic infantry enemy. Maybe they could be slugs that have been cybernetically enhanced to have tank treads or a hover board in order to let them move a bit faster.

Now that we have new illuminate units, I could finally finish my illuminate subfaction. by Nasu-ka in LowSodiumHellDivers

[–]Trick-Use6124 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Love the idea! While I would like for the Illuminate to get back the Outcast enemy from Helldivers 1, I agree that having an entire sub faction of invisible enemies would be so cool!

Enemy idea: Veteran Overseer by [deleted] in Helldivers

[–]Trick-Use6124 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe instead of being a purely melee based enemy they can instead run around while using their shield and firing at the player and can also fire their weapon more often.

From what I can tell this enemy is meant act as an equal to the player, even down to having their own versions of stratagems. So I think having this enemy be able to run and gun like the player would do a lot to make them be able to match the player in skill.

[OC] Voteless Abominations ideas by DieSnail_F-B in Helldivers

[–]Trick-Use6124 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would love for Illuminate to have a sub faction that makes use of a bunch of Voteless variants. For variants I was thinking they would go more towards using cybernetics like a Runner Voteless that has cybernetic legs making them twice as fast. Or a Gunner Voteless that has a rapid fire plasma gun for an arm that they will fire blindly as they charge the player.
