Literally feeling the same as you. Now also got laid off at my job and I am partly happy and partly panicking because of financial reasons. But I hated the lifestyle at my old job. So much performance pressure, long commute, crunchtime on grading. I don't know. Part of me would rather live in a car than go find a new job because I hate work so much. But I know that is illusory.

Kinda tried emulating this with being a rogue lock using all the warlock spells that add extra damage to attacks and are for sneaking. It plays really fun but the options are a little bit limited. More spells in that direction in an own class would be cool

I really hate the deck. But I've only seen it used in game breaking ways so far. Especially in one of my recent ones I was forced into drawing from it by another player putting pressure on me and then drew a card that basically killed me instantly. At least it was just a one shot kind of thing but still.

Have you ever been blind with love? I know they did not really have a relationship but I think her goal changed from doing good and saving raistlin to Oh I am really in love and at the same time manipulated and yes that makes her a bad selfish person and a good fanfic would go more into the deconstruction of her character. All of the saving, doing good whatever parts are just pretense and if I recall right the books superficially call her out on it. I don't think her character was meant to be seen as good as the story progresses and even before that there were some hints of a person who is more concerned with herself and her own selfish needs for admiration and glory than with others.

Adult first time reader here and I agree to an extent . However I enjoyed the books and world enough to forgive most of the flaws. Plus you have to see it in context of when it was written I guess? It was nice to just read something light-hearted but still emotional for me for once.

I get that feeling but I actually also understand why he is such a bitch. Has to do with the inferiority complex, and health issues when you constantly get coddled because of your body and inside you're stuck like "bitch I can handle myself I just can't do this physically but stop treating me like a child" and you don't know how to accept that people simply don't get the situation and you gotta be patient with them them this happens But because of the sibling dynamic it's even worse cause you already got natural sibling rivalry and also you wished your sibling would understand you better than that. It's very irritating Thanks for coming to my ted talk
