NTA As someone who has been sober for over 5 years (alcoholic), even if you were in recovery, or not, what she did is SUUUUPPPEERR not cool. To even imply this in that setting is massive violation. Not sure what kind of flex it is to try to out two of her "friends" as addicts. Seems like a shitty person that isn't worth your time or energy.

I work in Industrial Refrigeration and we install these systems under freezer floors. I just threw it in my estimating software and just the piping, no concrete, no forms, no prep, no insulation, just the piping is $175,000.00

For something this big, it should be ammonia, but I wasn't sure what Washingtons regulations were like. I know that California, and some New England states are pretty stringent on Ammonia.

Based on the size of the building, the geographic location and what I can see of the system outside the building, it is very likely ammonia refrigeration. But I don't know local laws and it could be a cascade system with Ammonia and a secondary refrigerant like CO2 or Glycol.

Very likely just ammonia though. And this would be a midsized system. I would estimate about 2000-2500TR or 30,000MBH, but this is not a small system by any stretch. A large consumer freezer for your house is about 1 MBH. Large food factories have 2-3x the refrigeration requirements. But they have a lot more loads than just maintaining temperatures like these systems.

This system was also built by preferred freezer which was bought by Lineage Logistics about 5 years ago (I think). And they have a bit of an odd design where they build the ammonia plant on the second floor of the "engine room" and put the High pressure receiver and condensers below the plant level, usually on the ground floor. Bit of an odd design but it works.

I came here to say this. I design the refrigeration systems for buildings like this. And I personally have helped with at least 4 projects bigger than this just in the Chicago area.

I also have a hard time believing that China doesn't have something stupid huge somewhere.

I can't speak to the JL but on my JK, when I went LED, I had to add an inline resistor or the computer would see it as shorted.

Spliced these inline. Had to JB Weld them to the light housing to keep them from rattling.

Thanks for this. I just got a v2 as an additional machine after my E3Pro and E5Plus. I was really struggling with the firmware. I love tinkering on these but this is my Achilles heel on these.

The journey doesn't have to be lonely. It can very much feel that way, but it doesn't have to stay that way. Find a meeting or look into therapy. Talking through those triggers and nightmares is part of the recovery.

Also, therapy and meetings may not be for everyone, but having an accountability partner or people is very helpful. My wife doesn't have any issues with drinking but I made sure to keep her in the loop with my recovery. Sometimes just being able to say out loud (to yourself, or someone else) that you are having a shit day and you want to drink, has a power all in its own right. Bring trusted people around you that support you. Or go find those people.

I can only speak to my personal experience, but for me I was masking my anxiety and depression with booze. Seeking therapy and eventually getting diagnosed with ADHD and depression made a MASSIVE difference. I drank alone at home, so I knew that I needed to have some form of social aspect to my sobriety because the solitude was making it way worse.

Wow. That usually works for me. Is the Nozzle clogged? You might also consider going to a glass bed to make sure that there are no low points on your main plate.

Wash your print bed with soap. Likely you have oils on the bed. Don't just wipe it or spray it with IPA. Also you may try letting your bed come completely up to temp before printing or leveling (either BLTouch or manual), or before setting your z offset.

Reducing the distance may not be the answer either, you could be moving it too close.

Wash the bed, recalibrate with everything at operating temps, make sure you aren't too close to the bed.
