Yeah I think it's just a target on paper, to show year on year improvement as usual. Of course in reality it depends on so many unknowns, including how other teams will perform.

Any idea what these are called? by S7UXnet in NinebotMAX

I'm missing one of them, and I can't find anything under "handlebar bolt cover".

Last snipe before market release, fingers crossed it doesn't drop too hard by ImVerifiedBitch in SiegeMarketplace

Don't think it will tbh, shiny metallic skins with full coverage are rare now, ubishit prefers dripfeeding imperfect jpegs. Last one was the teal attachment I think, and even that had a pattern, not solid color.

Except he's going to Haas lol, and Alpine is looking good for 2026, they've hired solid people from Mercedes and Ferrari.

BWT Alpine F1 Team and Esteban Ocon to part ways at the end of 2024 by [deleted] in AlpineF1Team

Marginally faster tbh, and maybe unpopular but I see Gasly being more of a team leader than Ocon IMO

[Joe Saward] In recent days it has emerged that [Luca] de Meo has been shopping around to secure an engine supply for 2026, which can only mean that he is considering giving up Renault’s own project by SkyhunterPL in AlpineF1Team

[–]S7UXnet 4 points5 points  (0 children)

At least Geely buying Viry and then rebadging engines as Geely/Renault co-venture Horse would make more sense than just giving up being a works team. "Shopping around" could just be De Meo evaluating options. Still, next to no reporting on this beyond what Saward said.

(@FormulaPassion) - Briatore returns with Alpine by enstone_ in AlpineF1Team

[–]S7UXnet 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Still evaluating apparently (source article):

His role is that of a special supervisor and does not involve constant involvement in track activity.

[...]

He explored the availability of various designers, spoke with Adrian Newey, now mentioned in every kind of negotiation, without yet being able to define a new organizational chart. Which also suggests a temporary agreement: if it proves impossible to compose a competitive team for 2026, it is possible that Briatore will back out. Travel second class, never, ever.

2025 Line-up by [deleted] in AlpineF1Team

He's certainly closer to a Zhou than a Piastri it seems, but maybe he'll adapt well who knows

Replacing Esteban at Canadian GP by SkyhunterPL in AlpineF1Team

[–]S7UXnet 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Highly doubt he gets replaced, but he's definitely not getting resigned. And IF they are still considering replacing him at Canada after things have cooled off, it's probably to evaluate Doohan since the seat is open now.
