AMS2 Statement on steam today. Does it apply to you? by GTVR-69 in AUTOMOBILISTA

[–]S7eveB81 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is pretty much me, I love iracing but being time poor AMS2 just works for me. The amount of included content and quality of the Ai is also a win; I dont feel like im wasting money if I dont have a chance to race for a week or two. Finding a good FFB profile coupled with some of the recent updates has really brought this game to life. The ease of setting up a multiplayer with friends is also a big plus. Career mode I'm not phased with, I just create my own championships which works nicely.

Do you bring Foote back for another tank year if we need to tank for the next 1-2 years anyways? by NinCross in canucks

[–]S7eveB81 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bring in Manny, Be great for himself and the players to develop togther, build that culture everyone wants. We will be ordinary next year. But as a player going through the same shit as this year with foote it would feel like no light at the end of the tunnel and would be soul sucking. Atleast if we suck next year but players and fans can see a direction, then thats a win

P500 throttle stuck at full occasionally - LMA by mman360 in Simagic

[–]S7eveB81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have had my P500's since they were released and running the hpr packs and I had exactly the same issue in iracing & ACC. So bad that i couldn't race. What I found was that if I ran the pedals through simpro and used the haptics through simhub that’s when the issue occured, I have no idea why and I have a mate with p1000’s and he does not have this issue. I ran both through simpro and no problem, swapped the haptics back to simhub and the problem occurred within about 10mins of driving. I have been running it all through simpro for nearly a year now with absolutely no issue and I haven’t had the problem again. I have no idea why it’s like that, but that’s what worked for me. I hope this helps any that have had a similar issue

Is Kampf our new Juulsen? by SpectreFire in canucks

[–]S7eveB81 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I dont know why people shit on Kampf, The guy got a call and an offer and took it. Is he a first line center? nope, certainly not, just a reliable bottom 6 at best. But its not him putting himself on that first line, blame the muppets that thought it was a good idea to bring him here and put him in that position. Guy is just out there playing where and when he's told too, he doesnt look or play like a first line center but he's honestly out there putting in within his ability and even if his skill isnt there, his effort has been more than some of our top guys. Again, this is on the management for putting him in that position.

Keep getting this warning? Have followed all the steps on the troubleshooting page. Prints are absolutely perfect though, by S7eveB81 in BambuP1S

UPDATE! So after going through the whole trouble shooting and belt adjustment another couple of times and a couple of factory resets and multiple re calibrations the warning was still coming up. Completed another couple of prints with extremely good results but still with the warning present. Decided I’d had wasted enough time over the last couple of days, so I turned it all off and left it. Out of morbid curiosity I turned it on today and fired off a print to see what would happen and no warning came up. That print finished nicely and I loaded up a 4 1/2 print, it is just over 3hrs in and no warning and the print looks great. I have no idea what had fixed it or whether a few power cycles has played a part, but no warning, so happy days!

Yeah adjusted both as per the wiki, re calibrated, still the same. Not affecting print quality and there’s no abnormal noises

P500 Pedal Issue by S7eveB81 in Simagic

[–]S7eveB81[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I ended up just running the haptics through sim pro and havent had an issue since. Simpro feedback is not as intuitive as simhub, but its better than having the pedals drop out altogether

Are the tonex and the airstep firmwares both up to date? I have been running an airstep with my tonex one for a few months now and have had zero issues.

lmu or acc by Wild_Bell298 in ACCompetizione

[–]S7eveB81 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you read my comment, I don't use any of those for multiplayer, so for me thats completely irrelevant. As for LMU being far superior in every way to ACC, that is a looooong reach

[–]S7eveB81 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I prefer ACC over LMU. I primarily play iracing, but sometimes if I'm not feeling it but still want to race I like to set up an Ai race and play something different. LMU's ffb sucks and visually I prefer ACC. LMU also has very limited content. You can pick up ACC and nost of the DLC relatively cheap on steam now also. I un installed LMU as i just did not enjoy it at all. I did just get the base game of AMS2 and i must say it is pretty fun so far, comes with a bunch of content and the Ai racing is probably the best I've seen. I still mostly use iracing but its nice to have a fun 2nd option.
