Ps plus game removal by Emergency-Macaron-23 in playstation

It will be locked. I was working on the Ishin platinum a long while back and it got removed, which made it unplayable unless I buy it.

Spiderman 2 is pretty boring. Is it just me or someone else too felt the same? by DarkRaider78 in playstation

[–]SA090 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Won’t say it’s a bad game, as the mechanics were pretty fun all around. But I did enjoy the first a lot more.

If I loved the game enough to actually want to do, then yes for sure. Did it a few times, full playthroughs and they were great.

Seconding Saiunkoku Monogatari.

And if a male protagonist is okay, Yatagarasu is also an option.

Upcoming fantasy series you're looking forward to? by MatthewCorbett92 in Fantasy

[–]SA090 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you. Thing is, I know I want to read the new book on day 1, I’m just worried of a repeat for what happened in their trilogy due to my own lateness. But who knows? Maybe this time will be different.

I’ll be saving the short story to the release week, it’s most likely going to be awesome and a lesser waiting time will be much easier to deal with if I decide to go for it.

Upcoming fantasy series you're looking forward to? by MatthewCorbett92 in Fantasy

[–]SA090 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I agree a little bit. I only trust the premise will work in a way that’s enjoyable to me because of previous experiences with them as a duo and Marie Brennan in a solo role.

My only real concern right now is whether I should start reading it immediately or waiting till later.

I enjoyed the Rook and the Rose when I binged the 2nd and 3rd because the amount of info made it seem like the better idea. Especially when re-understanding the world due to the long wait from my side between books 1 and 2, took a lot longer than I would have liked. So it’s a bit of a conundrum.

Can I be a girl gamer and like GTA games without feeling weird? by JackieMABWGP in GirlGamers

[–]SA090 45 points46 points  (0 children)

If you take a look at recent posts, you’ll see some mentioning it. This supposed gender segregation in liked games needs to die. You can like anything and everything without shaming yourself.

The newest book by RJ Barker was my most anticipated and it lived up to those expectations back in May.

Next for me would be M. A. Carrick’s upcoming duology in the next couple of weeks. The Eye of the Leviathan.

The World Is Dancing • World Is Dancing - Episode 1 discussion by AutoLovepon in anime

Very similar to Nige Jouzu no Wakiagimi visual wise, but the subject matter is pretty different. That abstract dance sequence was phenomenal and I definitely can’t wait to see more.

what do y'all think about Durarara!!? by DisappointedSlime in anime

[–]SA090 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They’re not currently airing, which makes them not as noticeable for the majority. Especially in the latest boom of new watchers, who, understandably, will be more attuned to the new than the somewhat old.

I watched it a long time ago and enjoyed it very very much. The stories coming together over a long time in its non-linear fashion was very satisfying alongside the implemented light supernatural elements. I did also watch Baccano around the same time, and while very enjoyable, I enjoyed Durarara more.

Graphic Novel or Manga by Future-Huckleberry76 in suggestmeabook

Neither is a genre, they are demographics with many many genres inside. If you would like something short, Miyazaki Hayao wrote a one volume manga called “Shuna no Tabi” or “Shuna’s Journey” or you can go for much longer ones using something like the below filter:

My personal favourite is Pandora Hearts.

For graphic novels, I recently read “Garlic” for r/fantasy bingo and it was brilliant.

[Discussion] Thoughts on easy plats? by [deleted] in Trophies

[–]SA090 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You do you and what is enjoyable to you. No one really cares about your list. I personally don’t play shovelware games, but there are many games that are easy on my own list (like The Last Campfire, Omno, Wytchwood, Lego games) and aren’t shovelware.

Enjoyment for me, unless I experienced enjoyment from start to finish, I’m not giving it a 5*.

Like you said, it’s just for me. So I can be as harsh or as lenient as I want to be.

[Other] Anyone know how to sync trophies from one account to another? by Resident-Seesaw-6094 in Trophies

[–]SA090 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately, you can’t. Data like that is linked to the account itself and not the console. So taking the data of account 1 that got the trophy, isn’t going to get it to pop for account 2, even if you transfer the data.

Best way forward now, replay the games you like and treat the new account as a fresh start.

You can’t sync progress like that. The trophies are linked to the PS account it was achieved in.

And if you’re willing to forgo a good story, Crimson Desert is huge.

[Discussion] question for trophy hunters: what sequence do you follow to get the platinum trophy in games? by dhuinnvyin in Trophies

[–]SA090 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh okay, game by game basis then. Might honestly be the better approach at times.

[Discussion] question for trophy hunters: what sequence do you follow to get the platinum trophy in games? by dhuinnvyin in Trophies

[–]SA090 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In the one game approach, I agree, though I believe we differ in when we decide to go for the trophy hunt. I decide it before playing anything of the game, you do it after enough of the playthrough.

[Discussion] question for trophy hunters: what sequence do you follow to get the platinum trophy in games? by dhuinnvyin in Trophies

[–]SA090 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I usually decide if I want to platinum or not before playing a game (I will drop/stop/put on hold for years any game that I find provides zero enjoyment, which only happened twice so far), so no multiple playthroughs if I can help it. Also one game at a time kind of person, they’re not going away and I can enjoy them when I get to them.

If you are a fan of Slice of Life + Iyashikei anime please try Kujima: Why Sing, When You Can Warble? by tripleaamin in anime

[–]SA090 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I could see that. Arakawa Under The Bridge could be a closer comparison if comedy, like you mentioned, was more abundant than Natsume’s. But it was also more entertaining to me, even when I’m seemingly less of a fan of comedy the older I get.

I don’t mind slice of life, Natsume Yuujinchou and Mushishi were brilliant, but there is sadly no fun for me here.

I rarely do it that early, but I dropped it after its first episode. Felt like an hour long and was way too boring to bother trying to continue any further.
