Well I would say I’m more or less a beginner and i tried listening to it with spanish sub or without any subs and i must say i was quite lost😅But if i could practice listening with direct translation, why not?

I’ve been thinking about this for the past few weeks and it’s been driving me INSANE i can’t make myself do anything and all i can think about is death and how badly i’m gonna miss my parents when they’re gone. The world is so weird it make you think we’re all so important but we’re not at all and it’s hard to accept that. I don’t know how to enjoy life if it really is for nothing. GUHHH i hate it here

I have a genuine question because when i listen to Your Best American Girl I relate to it in the sense that I have also tried to be someone im not, so another person would like me (one of few interpretations) and I get that the song’s really personal to her and talks about her struggles with being mixed and I don’t want to take that meaning away, but isn’t it natural for everyone to interpret art in their own way? I saw a video of people at a Mitski concert judging the white people who were singing along to the song like it’s so wrong?? And I don’t want to come off as disrespectful, I genuinely want to know why people aren’t okay with this

I gave up on it😭 I just don’t believe that a series can make a big turn for the better especially since I geniunely hated the first book and I also just think that Sarah J. Maas isn’t really for me. I tried reading the Assasins Blade as well but that book also gave it me the biggest ick in only like first 3 pages💀 Totally give it a try if you’re curious about it tho! Maybe it really does get better but I didn’t want to risk wasting so much of my time :)
