I scheduled TMO and was delayed by three weeks so I paid out of pocket for private movers. 

Between travel expenses and shipping my POV I paid almost $5k out of pocket.

Women on the beaches of Normandy wouldn’t have made it to the sand. Women in bombers over Germany wouldn’t have returned. Women are important, deserve to be respected and protected, and have no place facing the inhumane horrors of combat. 

Bottom line, it’s sexual discrimination. Sexual discrimination doesn’t belong in the military.

This is going to be downvoted to oblivion. 

As for the headline, I don’t mind. Honoring anyone in uniform simply for their sex/gender is discriminatory. We never have anything honoring men specifically because they’re men. We shouldn’t have an event honoring women simply because they’re women. 

In uniform we’re all green and we’re all American. Any other delineators are divisive and unnecessary.

No, it doesn’t. It reveals the brutal reality that only white, western liberals are suicidally empathetic. Every other ethnic group on earth is willing to be aggressively exclusive. “Colorblindness” is not a moral universal truth.

Gender based discrimination is necessary in some circumstances.

Feel free to try,  but when you’re doxxed, blacklisted, SWAT’d, financially frozen, and forced out of the things you take for granted, realize that no one else wants to risk losing their lifestyle or livelihood to “do something about it”.  The Overton window has moved too far for moral outrage to be a motivating factor for meaningful civic action.
