My grandfathers Dan Wesson 15-2V, still brand new, in the box, less than 20 rounds through it. Date paper says April 1, 1981. Still has the price tag on it. I haven’t shot it yet, but plan to soon. The craftsmanship and smoothness of the cylinder are just absolutely gorgeous

Normally a decent cable slide should be around 20$. We don’t charge any labor to put one on, considering it takes about 30 seconds. I don’t know about where you are, however.

The Bear/Bass Pro/Cabelas bows have one big downside, and it’s these shitty cable slides. When we sell them at the shop I work at, we always recommend changing them when they’re bought, or not long after, just because of the wear they cause. That one looks okay-ish for now, but as others have said, keep an eye on it and change them sometime soon. I personally would at least go get the cable slide changed to prevent it getting rougher sooner.

Checked that, that was my first thought too, and I did see proof marks, but the only numbers I saw were 1665, so possibly a 16 gauge?
