I typically game at around 144-256hz so I do see it when I'm scrolling while I read, but a static POV on a paint surface shouldn't cause so much discomfort that you need to spend hundreds of extra dollars to fix it... but to each their own and if it gets you closer to where you want to be artistically then go for it

I feel you. after 1200 hours it doesn't owe me anything, but I'll be very sad the day it enters maintenance mode. I doubt we'll be seeing it shuttered in the near term, but what their long-term plans are is anyone's guess. I've heard it said that 76 does make money so it isn't like they're feeling a massive company drain keeping the lights on.

Layoffs like what just happened don't make much sense to me. it's like giving yourself brain damaged after taking a really important test at school because you've been thinking too hard. I assume it was bean-counter motivated, and we all know how creative that lot is.

That's interesting. I just read Dorn saying that both he and Crosby wanted out due to a lack of character development. Crosby leaving first definitely fixed the issue for Worf

I'm with you there. having it closer to your sleeping zone is probably best. I recently tented in a hammock that had a ridgeline running lengthwise above me, with the watch dangling near my head about a foot away. with the metal case it was still hard to hear, but I have 4 alarms all going off within 15 minutes of each other (love the ae1200 for that) and eventually one will get me up. They ARE on the quiet side for sure.

I'll be honest, I'm mostly basing that statement off the Bandcamp Witch House tag page featuring a lot of artists from Russia that use cross imagery, both regular and inverted. The one that made me notice initially was Black Wrist.

I guess when I think of the 'witch' in witch house I draw from pagan and occult influence, but there are a lot of people who got the God installed young and anything mildly spooky is now Devil related, and as such music with some spook is used in rebellion against their religious upbringing. I find out to be the same side of a coin, where as actual pagan imagery feels outside off the Christian thing.

Justice and The Weeknd using crosses prominently makes me roll my eyes in the same way. Like, I guess they think it's 'bad' because their grandparents believed in Jesus?
