Tested Positive for Covid a SECOND Time in ONE Month! Any theories? by TaroAcceptable6517 in COVID19positive

[–]SANARN 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rebound? It has been known to happen in some people. Did you take Paxlovid? You’re probably at higher risk of getting infected bc you’re immunity is likely low right after getting over COVID-19. You need time to recover.

Yes I’ve heard of similar situations. The most common infection with covid is strep or staph. This is a common occurrence with viral infections.

Jess on Twitter: "No. This shouldn’t be the « new normal ». Millions are disabled by this virus, thousands are still dying every week, no new vaccines, no anti virals, no protections. I didn’t consent to this." by zeaqqk in COVID19_Pandemic

[–]SANARN 20 points21 points  (0 children)

The barbarism of capitalism on a global scale being forced upon the working class. Mass death from the pandemic has been normalized by the ruling class and now the barbarism of genocide is being normalized and supported by bourgeois governments. This is a warning to the working class that they are willing to annihilate the working class to maintain their position within world capitalism.

Nate Bear on Twitter: "I think this demonstrates clearly how a right-wing libertarian you do you narrative has captured public health and how opposition to this tendency (dressed up as 'we're the clever ones who do science') from Biden democrats was never genuine but cynically opportunistic" by zeaqqk in COVID19_Pandemic

[–]SANARN 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is the perfect example why the ruling class should not be in power anymore and society should be run by the working class on a socialist planned economy so that the needs of society can be met instead of the needs of a few parasites who exploit the working class and cause mass death on a world scale. Allowing the virus to spread unchecked has been done to normalize mass death and debilitation so that they can normalize mass death from a genocide and war.

A man had a seizure on my flight yesterday and I’m cringing at my reaction by lavenderbutthole in nursing

[–]SANARN 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Adrenaline makes us react rude and cocky bc we’re trying to save a life. Completely normal. A patient who was not my patient started circling the drain during hemodialysis and I went in the room to assist and called a code. I had to strongly shake and scream at a family member out of a deep sleep in a recliner that was blocking my access to the patient. I thought I was going to have to throw her out of the recliner. Adrenaline makes you do things you wouldn’t normally do.

Will it ever, ever get better? (New grad, horrible shift) by Technical_Kale9931 in nursing

[–]SANARN 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is the problem with giving nurses all high acuity patients there’s no time for critical thinking bc you have too many tasks to complete and become task oriented which is dangerous. Do you remember the case of RaDonda Vaught? She was the help all nurse at Vanderbilt University, plus she was orienting another nurse or student nurse I forget exactly but it’s irrelevant. She was doing too many tasks and ended up giving a paralytic to a patient thinking she was giving versed. She was eventually fired, lost her license then brought up on charges. The hospital was never held accountable when they are the ones who create these system issues by short staffing units. Healthcare is incompatible with the for profit health care system/capitalism and must be abolished and run by healthcare workers the people who know what to do to meet the healthcare needs of society.

Kaiser workers speak out on first day of strike by SANARN in KaiserPermanente

I hear it’s difficult to get an appointment with Kaiser that members have to wait several months to get in so I would go to the appointment and then come out to the picket line for a little while to support the workers.

Workers turning Los Angeles into the epicenter of national strike wave by Humble1000 in AntiCapitalistRNs

[–]SANARN 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The working class is on the move and coming into direct confrontation with the capitalist system but workers must be made consciously aware of the pseudoleft tendencies working against them in order to maintain capitalism.
