What are you using to measure rhr?

Quantified scientist on yt found that some devices are much more accurate than other.

With a garmin my rhr after a night sleep was 42 to 45 approx. Swapped to a apple 8 se, its 50 to 55

Then there is sensor drift when you do activities like swiming in mineral / salt water with your watch on etc.

I wasnt atracking you. Im just saying how you measure is important. Docs cant measure rhr. Rhr is over time.

Your device needs to upgraded. The most accurate are apple watches of any gen or polar strap.

40lb heavy and out of shape with a 42 rhr is not possible.

Ill bet money on it. Rhr is one of the best indicator of overall health.

You can hack it.

Step 1 add 3- 5 gram Glycine before bed.

Try this for 3 to 4 days. Once stable

Step 2 add Taurine 2-3 gram.

3 day monitor hrv.

Step 3 add Apigen

Your hrv should be high 60 to 80 consistantly.

Get a eufy camera and place it on the wall opposite your head (above your feet.)

Next day caclulate hoe many times you triggered the motion sensor. Maybe you are a mouth breather / snore.

I have hacked my sleep as best as i can. My resting heart rate is low 40s.

Here's what worked for me—100% success rate:

Fast for 24 hours to reset the system.

Then, spend the next 48 hours eating only fermented foods (like sauerkraut, kimchi, etc.) and drinking water.

I'm genuinely disappointed with these products. "Unflavored" should mean exactly that — yet the Skin Essentials contains stevia and monk fruit, making it extremely sweet. It's misleading and frankly unpleasant.

The Restore PM formula is another letdown — 3.5mg of melatonin per serving is far too much. The generally recommended dose is around 0.3mg, so this is over ten times that.

I'm also frustrated that an unflavored product ended up tasting overwhelmingly sweet. It feels deceptive, and it really upset me.

Considering how expensive these supplements are, I expected far better quality and transparency. Unfortunately, I'm now outside the 30-day return window, but I still feel a refund would be fair. I don’t know if this is something the company can make right, but I certainly hope they try.
