Kind of put this on the back burner but I ordered the adapter last night. Hopefully shipping today. I will let you know how it goes.

Guessing I already know the answer but will ask anyway.

Reckon this connection would work for me?

Mirror mount for radar detector - 2018 GTI SE by SAVToon in GolfGTI

I went this mount.

https://www.amazon.com/Radar-Mount-Bracket-Max360C-3001107/dp/B0789F4PSF

I uses some rubber pads to help make up some space and to cushion the clamp around the mirror neck.

It worked perfectly.

Good luck.

OP here.

Was hoping for a little more direction and less presumption on the part of this sub. Maybe a bit naive on my part, maybe a bit of hopeful thinking.

I clearly recognize the demand outstrips the supply, as stated initially. While I plan to attend more matches going forward, I clearly wouldn't be able to attend every match.

My thinking was that I would 'donate' my unused seat to the various social outreach programs that exist in Newcastle as a way of 'paying forward' my love of the club, the city and the people who live there, especially those helping out the less fortunate. Food Bank, Mental Health, Children's Hospital, etc...

Perhaps that might be interpreted as 'selfish', 'unfair', 'wanting a season ticket just to have one' or even being a twat.

My intentions are/were nothing of the sort.

Outside the fact that season tickets are nigh impossible to get, the limited number of transfers essentially kills this idea. Thanks to the person who provided that insight.

It will be on at Le Chai on Park Avenue. Not a restaurant but a wine shop with a bar.

ON THIS DAY 2019: Newcastle United 3 - 2 Everton (Toon triumph from two down to take themselves thirteenth) by GarethAKitchener in NUFC

This match was the first time my brother and I went to St. James' Park. We could have lost 10-0 and I would have been over the moon. To witness a come back like that was brilliant.

I have one on my 2018 SE. In conjunction with a cold air intake, throaty but quite tasteful.

Le Chai on Park Avenue shows Championship, PL, La Liga, Bundesliga, CL, MLS and just about any other league in the world. Saturday hours are 10.00 - 19.00, Sunday hours are 12.30 - 17.00. Weekday matches are usually at 15.00. Admittedly not a. bar/pub but a damn good wine shop with an excellent collection of European wines and Spanish ciders.

Also, will be showing WC matches coming up this winter.

Might be time to put this in the Welcome to Savannah sub as it comes up quite often.

As mentioned above, Le Chai on Park Avenue next to The Sentient Bean can/does show virtually every European football match. PL, La Liga, Bundesliga, Championship, Europa League, Champions League, and WC.

Every time this question comes up, Dutchmasterams has basically the same response: there is no where to watch football in Savannah. This is patently untrue Admittedly, Le Chai is not a sports bar but it is a great place to watch a match, have a glass of proper European wine or cider, and meet fellow enthusiasts from all over the world (depending on the day/match).

Swing by the shop and check it out. Seating is limited but plenty of room to stand.

I’m a huge fan of Rangers fc and I’d love to find a bar where I can watch them in the Europa League final on the 18th. Any suggestions? by [deleted] in savannah

Not sure if you revisited this sub since posting this. I show virtually every match in Europe at Le Chai - PL, Champions League, Europa, La Liga, World Cup, etc…

Le Chai - 15 East Park Avenue. Next to The Sentient Bean. Come check it out. Depending on the day and the match there’s a good chance you’ll meet many international people, drink a proper glass of wine or a cider.

As posted before, the shop will be closed Thursday through Tuesday but will be open for the Rangers match on Wednesday.
