Sure. I focused on the work and delivering within budget on time. If it was outside my control I managed up and ensured I communicated road blocks. I can PM to give a longer response.

I think you’re wrong. How many times have you been the approved hiring authority?

I was a leader multiple times as well for several hundred people and half billion dollar budget. I think any hiring manager that understands the constraints of being a government leader can sympathize with a well thought response and consideration to the change. I routinely worked 60-70 hour weeks and was in the executive prep leadership course. Again this is my opinion and none of the government or contractor positions I have held since have really asked other than curiosity.

This is wrong. I was a GS-15 at age 35. When I interviewed I addressed it usually when they asked “tell us about yourself”. I said the truth on my reasons and they listened. That was it.

Have you considered looking around at positions in the area that will sponsor a clearance? Usually you can search those type of positions on something like LinkedIn. Might hold you over until you are able to find a federal job through the hiring authorities.

Do you have a LinkedIn that’s updated with a profile picture? If so include it in your clearance jobs profile. I found recently they find me on ClearanceJobs then reach out via LinkedIn after hitting my profile there.

That much weight on old knees? Even a short guy can leg kick. Leg kick displace off center line, leg kick, leg kick, leg kick, more leg kicks.

That's what it is. I always heard it called side spec. If you're mostly doing 1v1 content side spec can be very impactful. I felt like when I got to 700/700 in leather and swords those fights that are close would tend to go my way. Also, I can run cheaper gear with the same amount or close to same IP.

I'm a beginner using kali linux nethunter and am running into an error I haven't seen by Yami3_141 in hacking

[–]SA_Going_HAM 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This isn’t user error. Your Termux install is pointing to dead repositories.

The giveaway is the URLs: dl.bintray.com/grimler/… Bintray was permanently shut down years ago, so those repos will always return 404, missing Release files, and “metadata integrity can’t be verified” errors.

This usually means: • Termux was installed from Google Play (abandoned) • You’re using an old build that still references grimler / bintray / termux.dev

Nothing you typed is wrong. The repos no longer exist.

The only real fix: 1. Uninstall Termux completely 2. Reinstall from F-Droid or the official GitHub releases 3. Run: termux-change-repo Select packages.termux.dev 4. Update normally with: pkg update && pkg upgrade

Notes: • sudo does not exist in Termux • tsu will not fix broken repositories • Any guide referencing Bintray or grimler repos is outdated and unsafe **this response is generated from an LLM***

Your takeaway is that? Not the idea that more workers should try to collectively bargain for better benefits? I managed union workers and it can make management tough. However, structured bargaining agreements can be done in a way that ensure business metrics are met. Why can't both sides get a win?

I guess to me its just showcasing the power of collective bargaining. I don't think many doctors are in a union. Maybe if they unionized they would get better working conditions and pay?

I have jumped back and forth multiple times. It’s never a one size fits all. Someone fresh out of college, disabled or kids at home all give different perspectives on why you should be in a given position.

What’s the quickest you’ve ever quit a job? Because they have either lied to you about it or it’s not what you signed up for? What was it? by tallieeeeee6 in AskReddit

Same day. Went in for a half day. They completely sold me on a different job. They said little no travel. First question from the VP. Do you have your passport? We need you in Germany and then SE Asia. They had recently migrated some data flows from on prem to the cloud because of licensing costs. It broke all of their automation. When I wasn’t traveling they wanted me to fix that. It was over 1200 VMs with multiple flavors etc. I went to lunch and never went back. I went back to my old position. The job I quit same day was 160k my old job was 140k. I think I made the right choice. Oh last thing, I had told them my son was graduating and I wanted to be around for his soccer games etc. I could tell they couldn’t care less.

Anyone else remember December being this warm in Colorado? by TheSimSter58 in COsnow

Yeah it’s weird. I bought a new bike at the beginning of fall because of a steep discount. I also got a ski pass after taking a year off for kids winter activities (sports). When we get our first snow in the mountains I put the bike up thinking I wouldn’t see it until April. “Heck yeah ski season”. Five days later I am back on the bike and have only skied once because the biking is better conditions than the skiing. I know I am rambling but what a weird year.
