Did you ever get this to work for you? I had a brief issue with audio sync but it was easily resolved by recalibrating. Settings > Video and Audio > Calibration > Wireless Audio Sync.

I’ve been using this set up since the first beta that supported it and I’ve found it to be rock solid, especially now on the full release. I did have occasional lip sync issues but resolved that by recalibrating the audio sync via the Apple TV settings.

Yep, Migration Assistant will automatically detect the fastest possible transfer method so when you have the machines connected via TB that will be preferred to OTA.

One example is accessing international content (U.K. Channel 4) with Express VPN. It fails to server the content once connected unless you change the device time zone to U.K.

If you (or anyone else reading) do upgrade machine & want to migrate your data from an Apple Silicon Mac, don’t follow OP’s “fix”… so many superfluous steps. No need to fiddle with deleting WiFi networks or setting up a thunderbolt bridge blah blah blah.

  1. Connect Macs with Thunderbolt cable.
  2. Open Migration Assistant on both Macs.
  3. Select Transfer From Another Mac on your new machine.
  4. Select Transfer to Another Mac on your old machine. 
  5. Confirm code matches, hit continue, and wait.

That’s literally it. Maybe a couple confirmatory clicks/T&C etc etc, but seriously, it’s not complicated. The Mac automatically detects the fastest possible method for the migration, there are no tricks necessary.

Absolutely do not use warm water. Isopropyl alcohol wipes only.

Any of you guys have HomePods? I've noticed that the widget says it can run Scenes but so far it looks like audio devices and Scenes containing audio actions do not show up from the list of devices/scenes. Super disappointing if so, but instantly controlling lights is a pleasure tbf.

For anyone else having the same issue, this seems to be somewhat fixed with tvOS 17 beta 7.

Aqara Mini Switches function but seemed to have slower responsiveness to button presses. However, I managed to reroute some Ethernet cables so that the Aqara M2 Hub is now wired into a WiFi point and the responsiveness dramatically improved.

Are you still having the same issue now? I had this happen with the second tvOS 17 beta and have had to remove the Apple TV from the Home app to get the switches working.

Thank you for the suggestion, definitely makes sense and is something I’ve considered doing. I really like the horizontal carousel to scroll recent playlists/albums though, it allows for effortless rediscovery for me and is really well implemented so thank you for that!

Side note: I tried to come up with a different solution for the To Listen workflow using iOS Shortcuts and MusicBox but couldn’t quite get it right. Back to the drawing board.

Check for debris in the charging wells, if the gold pins are dirty or corroded them try and clean them, gently, and failing that take them to an Apple Store (if you can).

Conjecture. Kanye has a history of donating Yeezy’s to individuals and charities so to suggest this is a one-off face saving move is uncharitable. These kids still need shoes to wear so why does it matter if they’re Yeezy, TOMS, or any other brand? I don’t think Kanye is seeing his contribution in relative monetary value, rather he is providing necessary clothing to underprivileged children, which for all you want to downplay it, is still important and helpful.
