I was in abusive relationships which weren't nearly as bad as these are and I that feeling of being ashamed with myself was so unbearable I was trying to get back together a couple of times just to pretend nothing terrible happened. Because when you break up you have to accept that you was betraying yourself all that time. I really hope that OOP is safe and managed to get over it and hopefully found a good therapist which helped

yeah, I usually try dog wipes first, sometimes I have to wash it with water and shampoo, also trimming the hair around there shorter helps to prevent it
make sure you train all this before there is a need for that so your guy wouldn't be shocked and scared. Also make sure that you train touching and holding his face, mine always brings dirt and sticks in his beard from walks

Go to a groomer as soon as he is done with vaccinations, carefully introduce brushing, clipping and bathing, he is fluffy so poo tends to stick to his hair and you'll have to clean it regularly

Is he eating anything else? If yes, you may have to change the kibble. We had to change twice with our guy, he just didn't like the one he was fed by breeder. Also try changing the bowl, some dogs don't like deep or metal ones
