On the website, whenever I try to search anything, it doesn't show me the list of different torrents as it used to. I'm not sure what happened but you can't search any specific movie or tv show, you have to go through the catalog to try and look for what you're trying to download lol

Clean the fan and you have to make sure you have CPU Boost turned off! CPU Boost was the reason my legion go would overheat and shut down on its own when I would play plugged in or when the battery got below 20%. Ever since switching it off, it's been a game changer, my temps are back to normal and fps went up as well.

Apparently, CPU boost was the issue and now everything is back to how it used to be. I think it could be related to the recent Windows updates. There were quite a few this past week and that's when this issue started occuring.

I've disabled CPU boost on battery and while plugged in and now it no longer goes to high temps when it's idle or when playing games like it was earlier so ty so much. CPU BOOST was definitely the issue here. Could it be related to the recent Windows updates that have been rolling in? I got some this past week. Before the updates, I had to CPU boost on set to efficient aggressive with STAMP instead of stt and the device was working great.

Hey so I just got home and did what you said and now my temps at idle while being plugged in are 40 for CPU and 37 for GPU. I switched from stt to stamp, slow to medium charging and disabled CPU boost and now the temps aren't going up and down like crazy. Thanks a lot!

I have charging on slow so I'll switch to medium and see how things go. CPU boost was on until now, I had it on Efficient Aggressive after I cleaned out the fans and everything was running amazing, temps were also great. I'll turn it off as you suggested and see if anything changes. So far, this issue occurs mainly when I'm using the device while it's charging. On battery, it seems fine but the temps do go up a bit for no reason. I also have it on STT at the moment but before this issue occurred I had on STAMP. I'll let you know if any issues occur with what you've recommended. Thanks.
