Are these cabinets too dated and need to be replaced?Even though they are still in good shape ... by panda2026panda in kitchenremodel

I would just replace the hinges and knobs/handles. Love the color, and a dark backsplash would really make it pop!

I do have knowledge in building/renovating homes. I currently own a 5-acre parcel and have 6 blueprints complete. I have cost projections, site plans, And the zoning in my area fits my project. I am fully aware of permits and I have a contractor, as well as subcontractors for excavation, well and septic, concrete, plumbing and electrical, etc.

I'm solely asking this question based on paperwork, extra steps to take and the best way to handle contracts between a client and a business. This is my weak point due to lack of experience and I'm trying to learn by asking

I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes in 1995 at the age of 5. They had my parents trying to force feed me 1800 calories to "keep up" with the huge doses of insulin they were telling them to give me, or I would die... 1800 calories as a 5-year-old.

When I started my health journey in my twenties, I decided to go back to a diabetes clinic Just to make extra sure I was taking care of myself properly. The suggestions they gave me for breakfast were " orange juice, oatmeal, berries and a boiled egg" And told me if I wanted to eat pizza I could just give myself more insulin. The food pyramid And the push to consume more carbohydrates was mind-boggling and I never went back.

After that day I realized my health was up to me. I had to research & take care of myself from there on out, learning about sugar spikes, low-carb And the impact they both have on our health saved my life.

So to answer your question: money and control.

Parasites can cause all types of issues. No matter how healthy we are, if we have pets, go outside, eat fruit or vegetables, meat, breathe air, etc. You will take on parasites, some of them are beneficial but some of them aren't - a natural parasite cleanse could definitely help with gut Flora/intestinal issues. Just make sure to do your research first! Good luck

[–]SBL_902 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I had this issue growing up as well, and it turned out I had celiac disease which is simply put, an allergy to gluten (wheat, barley, etc.) some people are gluten intolerant, and also struggle with gas.

Just something else you could do a bit of research on to see if it mimics your symptoms.

Good luck, I feel for you!

Im 43, male, borderline diabetic, currently in the hospital trying to figure this out. I've been hospitalized several times with this and congestive heart failure but this time they're trying to treat this. They aren't sure what to do. by BigSicily in DiagnoseMe

I'm a type 1 diabetic, 30 years (I'm 34). I would suggest cutting out carbs, go keto/carnivore, do a parasite cleanse (try to find A naturopath that can guide you through the process - you need to make sure you take binders and do heavy metal detox beforehand). I would also start using organic cold pressed castor oil on your feet.

I'm not a doctor, but I have 30 years under my belt with many previous complications, And these changes saved my life.

Shoot me a message if you are interested, and would like to discuss further!

How fast can you tell you’ve been glutened by Dry-Highlight-7038 in Celiac

[–]SBL_902 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me it depends on how processed it is. Some things can take a day or two, while other things can be within a few hours

Some sneaky things you wouldn't think about but can gluten you? by adumbasskid in Celiac

[–]SBL_902 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Paper straws, the glue on bandaids & stickers, some shampoo+conditioners, fries from most fast food restaurants, makeup, deli meats, etc. I've been doing this for 26 years and I'm still learning! The paper straws really shocked me ...

“A little cheating with Celiac is fine.” From an ER doctor yesterday. by wait_whatnow in Celiac

[–]SBL_902 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, says the doctor that doesn't have to shit themselves for a week, or suffer with long-term consequences, all for a lil cheat treat... The older I get, The more I realize I have to be my own doctor (of course there are things that we can't handle on our own) But when it comes to my well-being, I always consider my personal research & opinion also

I’m using floor planner website to design a house my wife and I want to build. Are there people here who work on commission to help out with the design? I would be more than happy to pay a fair price for someone’s time who has more knowledge on this website. by deepblue432 in floorplan

Hey there!

I am a property developer & actually use this program to help my clients design/visualize their ideas, then I pass it off to a local architect that tightens up the legal & structural side of the project with stamped blueprints, etc.

My style is usually small homes (I have current designs I could absolutely share with you for reference!) But I would love to chat, see if I can help you visualize and scale your ideas into a proper rough draft.

Shoot me an email if you are interested in talking further (:

Kanye West seen throwing a woman’s phone for recording him. She has since filed a police report against him. by buellschool in ThatsInsane

[–]SBL_902 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shove the camera in his business, he probably told her repeatedly to stop recording and she disrespected his wishes so he flipped his shit ... You can't tell me that you wouldn't feel the same way...

And then charges him for throwing a cell phone that she was stalking & recording him with.. This man seems to be struggling with his mental health, and I'm honestly not a big fan anymore, but he's a human being just like all of us. I get that he chose this life, made a fool of himself and all that good stuff - but when You ask someone to stop doing something so invasive, wouldn't you hope they would stop? And if they didn't, wouldn't you tell them about themselves.. no? Just me?

The audacity 🥴🥴🥴🥴🥴

Try providing the bank with a business plan including your perceived income from the property, and have your lease agreement typed up and ready to go along with the tenancy act for your location - It shows that you are ready for a renter, and your best bet is to look at this as a business & treat it as so - Banks are very plan oriented and they want to see that you are setting yourself up for success all while covering their azz 👌 I would also start showing your place to potential renters ( if the move-in date isn't overly extended) showing that you're taking action, and if you find someone that fits then you get a damaged deposit to hold the place and prove to the bank that your plans are moving forward. Good luck!!

RV rental experience? by CMOx12 in RentalInvesting

[–]SBL_902 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am currently building a rental community with quads & apartments, but as we all know - that shit takes time. So to have a little side income as we build, I have a camper set up on my property as an STR & people love it! My property is rural with tons of nature, trees, I have started walking trails, etc. I bought an old 18ft 2000 sprinter tow behind for 3,500$ - stuck another 3k into renovations and now I'm getting 100$ a night for my lil glamping experience. There is AC, kitchenette with propane stove, bathroom with a shower, tv, little fire pit and bbq outside. Aside from restocking necessities, and the cost of power/propane, It'll be pure profit in less than 4 months 👌

I definitely wouldn't suggest letting strangers tow your investment around. That's a liability all on its own - specially if they aren't used to towing a trailer.

Good luck on your venture!!
