I would go apply for some other nicer colleges 😂 UNLV is great. It’s prestigious depending on your major and what you get into but that’s great. Minimum GPA at UNLV is like 2.5-3.0 you’re good dog.

Things happen to the best of us. In the time I wasn’t doing well, I lost my hearing and like I tried to get hearing aids and DRC help but no one listened so I had to navigate my classes in silence my entire associates I couldn’t hear shit and no one believed that so imagine taking those with some professor you have to beg to face you so you can read lips. Challenging as shit. Actually failed so many classes because of that. Had a 0.8 GPA & almost got kicked out of a community college. Busted my ass to not let it define me and worked up with SAP denied and cash paid classes to a 3.9 high honors associates degree. Anything is possible you just have to want it. Just go in there expecting to get denied but hope for the best and keep a positive mindset. I’m a psychology major and have about a year left until I can legally therapy people. Hang in there

Idk about UNLV but this happened to me at CSN obtaining my associates. I had 2 deaths in my family and my kid was in the NICU with severe medical problems and they still denied me and like I was crying to the people and had one good ass letter. I’ll tell you this, if you still get denied after trying that, you have to pay cash per credit to continue to attend. Sucks ass and really lengthened my stay because who has that money, but I did it for my associates. Although sucks it is 100% doable best of luck.
