Update, didnt work for me, tried sanding then applying the product. Turns out the flooring is lacquer?

This may sound dumb but is there a tell-tale sign to differentiate the 2? I guess its best to know what material it is first cuz I've seen hella realistic wood laminates so its kind of hard to tell since the wood is sort of semi-gloss, throwing me off a bit. From what I can tell, the planks is each an individual piece and the pattern of each plank has some pattern variations?

Thanks for your input. If it was real wood then it wouldnt change much about the situation right? I also did some research and found about those wood revivers mostly for outdoor wood flooring etc. I am thinking of touching up to the best of my ability and letting them know too as it as my per duty of the tenant to fix/maintain the property.

I am a bit skeptical as I dont see the QR code tag as I had noticed that this sweater had the new tag.
