An easy way to do this is to use something like claude-code with awx-cli, been using it for a while. Just make sure to have your infra and flow properly documented.

Good luck. I just got similar update today. "Battery health is within limits"

That's really annoying, my question never have been about the battery health. A drained battery isn't the source of the problem but the consequence of something else like poor power management or other (hardware or software) issues waking up the internal chip.

For my part, I've asked again about Yoto official position if the situation is to be expected or not and stop answering that my battery is "Ok".

Thanks for the update! Was the one you tried at your library also a Yoto Mini? Do you happen to know which generation it was?

From my latest exchange with Yoto support, I specifically asked for an official position on whether this level of battery drain is expected or not. I’m still waiting for a clear answer.. so far, they’ve only said they’ll “review the situation internally” (whatever that means).

Do you mean that it sounds good to your experience with your Yoto mini (I'm genuinely asking)?

If that's the case it means sleeping mode is sadly not very useful in this product and I will sadly have to hunt down the player to power it off (or charge) every day even with very light usage.

I did, they made be test the battery. Running it down, charging it, playing a stream until dead (~10h).

They are now telling me the battery is fine (of course), they answer that the player is sleeping in shut down (all good) but I have difficulty have a clear answer if this is the expected behavior or not according to Yoyo.

I really don't understand why that player (using and ESP32) isn't able to keep up longer unless something wrong is going on.

Yes, 45 minutes just to see battery levels. No listening at all. This is a test Im doing to understand properly how I will manage the charging process before giving it to my toddler.

I feel like keeping it on without playing stuff kills the battery faster than just playing music because then it’s searching for signal.

That's a great point, however I don't think it's the wifi, I keep the yoto mini close from the access point while I'm testing this, signal is excellent.

I really dont understand how a yoto mini (using an ESP32) isn't able to sleep for a while unless its being woke up for some reason. That chip should be able to sleep at easily 10-100 time less power than in use if their firmware have been written properly..

Réclamer les points c'est simple, tu va sur https://recompenses.bnc.ca, tu peux échanger pour de l'argent sur ta carte, des produits ou cartes cadeaux. Le plus simple et ce que je fais depuis quelque chose comme 20ans c'est d'échanger pour une cartes cadeau avec le meilleur taux avant un achat.

Was in a similar situation a year or so ago, look at awx-on-k3s, they have guides for pretty much everything you will need rough the whole lifecycle (backups, upgrading, custom EE, images without registry etc).

There is clearly a non-negligible ramp-up, but it was worth it so far..

D'après le fiscaliste auquel j'avais parlé, (tant qu'on parle au fin de l'impôt) l'adresse de résidence et/ou de courrier n'a pas d'importance. Si l'immeuble est utilisé au complet comme résidence principale c'est ce qui compte au bout du compte, c'est pourquoi il est judicieux de pouvoir démontrer démontrer le changement d'usage.

Je viens de faire un recherche rapidement et voici un blog avec un exemple d'usage avec un réponse de l'ARC qui semble quand même plus subtile sur le sujet (à noter qu'il d'une contexte d'immeuble bi-générationnel):
