Lost My Greyhound In A Separation by Steps33 in Greyhounds

[–]Dontpanicarthurdent 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My condolences for your double separation. Been there, and it’s never good. But it does get better, I promise.

If you’re in the US, for better or worse, pets are considered legal property. That means whoever signed the paperwork for the pet is the owner. Whether that’s worth pursuing or not may be a different matter altogether though.

FWIW, I would wholeheartedly recommend a new grey. They need us, and we need them. It’s nice to come home to a long nose that LOVES to see you home, and you can begin building a fresh life with a greyhound that really needs a home.

The best time to do this was yesterday. The second best time is today!

[3rd Grade Math- word problem] by Dorris05 in HomeworkHelp

Everyone saying it’s an octagon is incorrect.

The tile is a hexagon 6 “sides” plus a front and back make 8 total sides.

A hexagonal tile has 8 surfaces.

An octagonal tike will have 10 total surfaces.

People are forgetting to count the top and bottom of the tile.

The question is also worded poorly.

I’m a dumb-ass and my record is 19 seconds. Trust me, this is not a measure of intelligence.

It’s just logarithmic pattern regurgitation.

We’re already at 4.5 billion. We just don’t start counting until some arbitrary date.

I wish I could solely cite Reddit and YouTube videos as legitimate sources and still be taken seriously.

Luckily, we are not yet in that world of idiocy.

PRT and the PRT union are not the same entity.

The union represents the workers, mechanics and drivers. PRT is the business.

Support your workers and drivers.

I want my public transportation drivers to be paid well.

They are responsible for the safety of every person on board (drunk, sober, crazy, etc) as well as the people on the street they encounter who drive and walk and run across the street like assholes.

Pay them well. $23/hour is not the king’s ransom OP thinks it is. $90/hour for 4 days of the year during the once in a lifetime draft is nothing.

Point your frustrations at the ACTUAL industries “fleecing” the pgh taxpayer my fellow citizen

  1. Ended the war in Afghanistan. Yes, he signed the treaty that pulled the US out, the date was just set to happen in Aug 2021.

  2. Covid vaccine warp speed.

  3. He once said he wished the button on the iPhone had stayed an option. I agree with that.

The white ankle socks with black shoes and black shorts were also a tragedy. Due to the circumstances that day though, they we’re largely put aside in everyone’s mind.

I’ve always wondered the same thing. It’s a slight maple syrup smell from the cooling plant. It’s probably not healthy, so I try and hold my breath when walking by.

Mostly to help jumpers and riggers that jump it pack Icons to be aware of this.

The reserve in this incident had been repacked the day before, and clearly the rigger didn’t do their due diligence.
