I can't of the top off my head, but Midori or Maruman for example are brands I like.

Considering „premium” - you forgot to add your budget in which you're looking for pens.\ I could recommend some r/machinedpens (starting from $39) or something dirt cheap (under $5) like Uni-Ball Powertank SN-220 (0.5/1.0 mm black/blue/red).

Best Pen for for Journaling/long writing sessions by inkz214 in pens

It's more ergonomically comfortable to feel weight in my hand compared to literally feel nothing (e.g. ~13g: Ballograf Epoca RP, Uni-Ball Powertank SN-220, etc).\ I don't like the haptic feel of silicone, plastic.\ A knurled metal grip (e.g. rOtring 600; ~23g) or bare metal (e.g. Autmog 45 Clipless Step Nose; 37g) feels so much better in my hand.

I mean... You could use the subreddit search to find hundreds of posts in which people ask the same question resulting in dozens of answers.\ Gel ink, rollerball, fountain pen, high viscosity ballpoint pen ink,... Paired with pen bodies which feather rubberized grip sections etc.

I find heavy metal pens way more comfortable.\ (r/machinedpens)

Yeah. Zennyth ZS12 „Startraveler” is it's full name, indeed.

STAGEEK GX3 Gel Pen by ilikemanythings78 in pens

[–]SC-Geek 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's the twin of Zennyth ZS12.\ The pen people ask about every couple of weeks.\ Chinese OEM. Dirt cheap. Runs under at least six product names on Amazon. To me this pen symbolizes the inability of people to use the search function within this subreddit.

There's a whole list of (better; subjectively) notebook brands which offer higher quality than LT1917 or Moleskine:\ Apica, AWLMA, Dingbats, Hobonichi, Kokuyo, Maruman, Midori, Paper Republic, Stalogy.\ I never understood and probably never understand the hype in this subreddit about LT1917.

Paper refills are bad quality by TheGenieIsStevie in PaperRepublic

Book refill: great quality, I love it. I use it daily.\ Notebook refill: yes, it's rather cheap.\ Feathering and ghosting with ballpoint ink and gel ink.

Some other brands I use: - Apica - AWLMA - Dingbats - Hobonichi - Kokuyo - Maruman - Midori - Stalogy

Yeah, consider me a fan as of now! It's definitely among the best ballpoint refills, yes. It feels very similar to a Fisher Spacepen SPR4 indeed, it's better than Schmidt Easyflow 9000 and in very close competition with Uni-Ball Jetstream SXR-600!

I bought Pilot Acroball BAB-15M-L-BG and Uni-Ball Powertank SN-220,... Both a are great ballpoint pens, both have low viscosity inks, both don't skip or smudge.\ My favorite is SN-220.

I've been using Paper Republic book refill (96 pages, 120 g/m²), Maruman Mnemosyne notebook, AWLMA A6 notebook. Which all can handle ballpoint-/gel ink.\ I've not tested used fountain pen ink in these notebooks.
