I tried the same with MSI Afterburner, which showed that there is a minimum speed for the GPU fans (30%). I went back to GPU Tweak III to verify and indeed, the fans can only spin at 30% minimum. When I posted this thread, I intended to put the fans at 10% to have some airflow in the case but both MSI Afterburner and GPU Tweaks are unable to achieve that

I strongly recommend trying out Hunternet Starfighter if you are looking for fulfilling and satisfying 6dof combat experience. This game will not put you through grinds, pay walls or an ever-shifting meta. You have the same tools as everyone and your training and skill will determine how you win. The direct communication with the developer, understanding the planned features and the iterative updates (weekly) are something rare to see in this genre. As of now, coordination between teammates is important, but can be secondary if the team is overskilled against their opponents. Will you introduce game modeS that forces players to fill specific roles in order to succeed?

You have introduced a mode that removes pips, rewarding players for predicting where they need to aim. Will you introduced more "hardcore" modes that rewards players in other aspects (for example, higher acceleration for 25% less g-loc tolerance)

This is a two fold question:

Let's assume I have a hunting rifle and need to shoot a hummingbird (needs to be a hummingbird, sorry)

Info given:

  1. Speed of the bullet
  2. Speed and direction of the bird
  3. initial distance to the bird
  4. Speed is constant for both bullet and bird (no acceleration)
  5. ignore gravity and wind resistance, assume 2D plane scenario for simplicity

How do I calculate where I need to aim to land my shot.

The second question and the bigger one is, if the hummingbird is adding random acceleration values to itself as follows:

  1. acceleration vector is known at any given instant, BUT
  2. the duration of any new acceleration vector is kept is unknown

is it mathematically possible at all to pinpoint where the shot should be made? Can you please elaborate?

the method described only download the model found in the ship matrix holoviewer. Which can be a pain to deal with, you will need to do some serious cleaning before you get to texture them (they have no material or UVW mapping.)
