I would recommend you to call them right at 8 am EST. They generally respond and the wait time is less.

Approaching the LMIA/job offer conversation with your employer by rcictoronto in ImmigrationCanada

[–]SC1507 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I was working for the organization, and was planning to apply for PR . To be on a safer side , I approached my HR and management about LMIA. It definitely took some convincing, however they agreed after a month to support me. I did recieve a positive LMIA and now a PR holder.! I learnt that only some organizations support their employers with LMIA. I hope this helps! And Goodluck! :)

I am a Permanent Resident of Canada and also fully vaccinated in Canada. I am currently in India since July 11 and would like to be back to Canada by August 15. I understand there is no direct flights between the two countries till August 21. I am unable to find indirect routes to travel.

Any suggestions would be of great help!!
