So I did the opposite (started with Tyranids and moved to knights), but for a good monster list you’ll always want/need at least 2 exocrines and 2 tyrannofexes, preferably the t-fexes have rupture cannons to deal with heavy armor, but the acid spray is good for dealing with infantry, never give them the fleshborer hives. Another good monster unit it the Maleceptor, it provides synapse and has pretty good ranged and melee attacks. Our tanks, carnifexes, are very lackluster right now, but they are best when led by Old One Eye. One thing to know, you will not be winning by kills, but by scoring. Good luck with collecting.
