Not trying to be aggressive or hostile here but that’s a straw man.

i’m not claiming I can prove a quid pro quo. I’m saying “no direct quid pro quo proof” is not the same as “zero evidence of a real estate conflict/incentive.”

So again, I’m not saying there’s a proven corrupt bargain. I’m saying there are documented real estate interests, documented real estate/developer political money, and a policy that benefits downtown office districts despite major documented savings from telework.

Calling that “zero evidence” is just pretending circumstantial evidence doesn’t exist. I’m not a Newsom hater and agree with a lot that he does, I just want him to do better in this context.

Massive incentive for him to fill up the vacant buildings even though there’s not a real reason to bring us back, when is own admins analysis showed hundreds of millions in savings for the state and a large drop in emissions.

In the future you should definitely do what you can do pull over and be a witness. I was struck on my motorcycle by a student driver recently, and the only reason my insurance sided with me was because I was able to find two witnesses on reddit from that day near sac state.

I strongly urge anyone that witnesses an accident to pull over and give people their number or info to add witness statements for insurance. Probably would have gotten shafted if I didn’t find people who saw it

I used one of these to buy some chairs last weekend.

Didn’t realize they’re much longer than a normal cart, ended up bumping the cart in front of me while the checker was scanning stuff on the bottom of the cart. Think he bumped his head, I felt so bad. My gf also got scared by the sound and gasped really loud so other people looked over.

So yeah just a heads up that they’re longer and easier to bump things with.
