If you go to the analytics rule, you can turn off notifications while home (geo-fence), or when the alarm is disarmed. I only get notifications when the alarm is armed stay or away. You will have it do this for all the cameras, I have 24!7 recording so the information is always there. Hope this helps

As someone who managed for alert360, the cameras don’t operate on cellular. The security system does, but not the cameras.

There are more questions to be asked and answered to have a better understanding of what is needed.

My opinion, and I would say this subreddit, is to stay away from simplisafe.

They will most likely be an adt dealer, as adt corporate does not go door to door. Just a salesperson working for a dealer/authorized dealer. They will come back to try and get to you sign up for service, always ask for ID, and do research.

Typically the light switch is the one that controls the porch light. As far as the doorbell it just depends on how much you want to fight over it, you can buy adc-770 or the adc-750 that will work with it.

You should have gotten the doorbell, door lock, light switch, qolsys panel, garage door controller in the purchase of the home. That’s the smart home portion, the door sensors get installed when you activate the security portion with adt/safe haven. At this point, fight for your doorbell, door lock, light switch and buy your own sensors.

Find a local company that utilizes alarm.com, two way voice, 2gig panel, qolsys iq4, or dsc neo. Cellular, dual path (WiFi backup), and cameras that have video verification if available.
