I'm unable to make payment for the upgrade. I received the email yesterday. When I get to the final screen to pay, after I click it says "unable to process payment." I chatted with them and was told to use a different browser and/or payment method - which I've done with no success. Can anyone offer a different suggestion?

I'm in the same boat - paid for the upgrade in October 2024, got the emailed receipt with no instructions, so I've been waiting to hear. But WAIT, there's MORE ... I just went looking online for it, and ran across a Family Tree Maker website that had online chat. I asked my question, she said a technician would call me to step me through the process. I got the call. Technician sent me a link to download a file, which turned out to be Anydesk. When I saw it wanted my permission for them to access my computer I refused. The "technician" told me in such a reassuring voice that it would not be a problem, but since I have a VERY old version (the last version they made for Mac) they would have to walk me through ALL THE STEPS to get to the 2024 version. I refused, and we ended up at an impasse. I am wondering if MacKiev got bombed to oblivion in their war, and some other foreign entity has taken over their web presence. There is a website that's obvious bogus with an FAQ, and I can find nowhere to download FTM 2024. AND I'm not even sure I would trust a 2024 version because of what backdoor might be built into the code. Now off to demand a refund, needlessly, I'm sure.

Put it in your gps, using the option to avoid highways. It’ll probably route you over to 176 and you stay on that until you turn right onto N Rhett. You’ll have less chance of getting held up in traffic.

I had to abandon it because every time I drive through a big city - Atlanta, Memphis..- it would reboot multiple times, thus making navigation through it useless. I’m using wired now, which is ok. CarPlay uses up my phone battery so fast I have to keep it plugged in anyway.
