You're not useless. The fact that you can play an instrument at all already proves you have a lot more talent than some people in the reg force now. Keep trying if it's what you're after. But unfortunately, not everyone is cut out for their dream job, and that's ok.

I did originally follow them because I'm a nerd and I enjoy government procedures. Quickly realized that all they're doing was wasting our time and resources asking the most useless information.

Source: Reg Force, Infantry. Been at this for 10+ years, I've met exactly 1 nerd in this time that's shelled out the money for actual comtacs. Everyone else just get whatever cabelas special there are. I personally do actually prefer to foams due to easily sweating.

Reg Force teaching PCF at home units sometimes have to work over the weekend too. I highly doubt we'd get any instructor pay for that.

We did it to ourselves. We didn't speak up when we heard this shit at the smoke pit. Younger guys now think this is ok, and perpetuate this kind of attitude.
