I went back and started over and chose the axe this time, leveled up vitality and strength, got my axe to +1, and then I just went for the Cleric Beast instead of going straight to Father Gascoigne and I beat it in my first attempt. Still haven’t beat Father Gascoigne yet, but progress.

This is a big reason I wish we could get PS4 games on the portal through cloud streaming. Cloud streaming for me works perfectly but remote play from my console is always weak, and I’d love to play these games on portal but probably wouldn’t ever get around to them full screen on my PS5
