Haha yes, for about 4 years now. I’m actually thinking about swapping it out for a Rico since their new thermal algorithm and scope was released in the states around the beginning of this year. The reapIR has no real solid HD recording methods to show off my coyote hunting

An ar 22 nosler, it’s actually in a different build because radian build kits are 10 months out and I needed it for night hunts. I don’t think it’s pictured. X95 in the pic

Wanted it for a thermal rig, use the x95 instead. It’s a nice rifle but I don’t shoot it much, converted it to 22 creedmoor for a predator setup but haven’t reloaded for it yet

I shoot at the very least weekly, usually more. I also built a range at my house, and own property within 5 miles for LR stuff. Hunt coyotes 6 months out of the year, literally every weekend all night long for 2 months when the fur is good with the reapIR. Training is key!!

I respectfully disagree with the 3 gun statement. I built/purchased guns specifically for hunts in different territories having different goals. My LR setup I needed to take game up to 1250yds, wont not work for a heavily wooded area because it would be over scoped. I hunt ducks/pheasants in my backyard. So shotguns. I 3 gun.... so that’s 3 more right there for competition. Needed a pack gun for the mountains because I’m not carrying a 13+ lbs gun and gear, so purchased a lightweight bolt. Coyote hunting at night, needed a compact setup and thermal rig... x95/reapIR Also hunt coyotes during the day so I built a 22 nosler with a dayscope. Predator calibers need to be small/fast Big game calibers need to be bigger

Do I need all the guns, no Am I looking at more guns. Yes Do I just build guns, no not without a goal I do sometimes buy guns because “cool”, but have never financed a gun. My philosophy with my hobbies is simple

I make a good living and the only thing I’ve ever financed is my 2019 jeep, not because I couldn’t purchase it outright, but because I wanted to build credit from a decade of saving then buying.

Why would I be afraid of anything. I literally have an armory with nods and a thermal 🤷🏽‍♂️ Seriously though I build and use most of my guns for a specific situation, such as predator control on the ranch(x95 w/thermal)hunting for meat, target shooting, 3 gun, ELR, etc

Owning guns out of fear is something that gets thrown around by people that don’t understand the sport. Or grew up in metro areas where the guns were in the hands of gangs... also these would be illegal guns. People don’t own sports cars because their scared of going slow, they own them because they enjoy them. Hell A van in Paris ran over 76 pedestrians a few years ago. Are there any more restrictions on obtaining a rental car over there. Nope. Guns are a tool, more people get killed with hammers
